The 2016 Aussie Eurovision entry Sound of Silence has gone gold down under after Dami Im’s amazing success at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm.

Dami Im made Australia proud last month when she achieved an honorable 2nd placing at the 2016 ESC in Sweden, she was the jury’s hot favorite. Sound of Silence has become a hit not only in Europe but has gone gold in Australia.

Dami Im has become a household name in Australia since her Eurovision journey, and is very much in demand in her homeland.

2016 saw Australia’s second 2 Eurovision contribution, after having debuted in Vienna in 2015 with Guy Sebastian.

Will  2017 see an Aussie victory at the Eurovision Song Contest in Ukraine? The country has surely started off with a good foot in the competition.

Good 4 her. I really didn’t think that her single would gonna get certified GOLD at the end..
On its 2nd week it had dropped 20 whole places on the ARIA charts from #5 down to #25!
so I was pessimist about her esc song’s success in her country Australia..
