France: Amir nominated at the 2016 NRJ Music Awards

The 2016 French Eurovision act Amir has gone places ever since he represented France at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm with his entry J’ai cherche, which has become a massive hit in the country. Amir has been nominated at the forthcoming 2016 NRJ Music Awards in the Francophone Revelation Act of the Year category.

The 2016 NRJ Music Awards will be held at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes on 12 November. Amir will be competing against other upcoming and aspiring French acts like Claudio Capeo, Jain, Jul, Ridsa and Slimane. You can vote for Amir to win the award until 6 November.

Amir flew the French flag at the 2016 ESC with J’ai cherche, achieving an honorable 6th place in Sweden,  the country’s best placing in the contest since 2002 when France placed 5th. He has seduced the French nation with his latest single On dirait.
