Potential acts for Eurovision 2017?

Featuring alongside frequently mentioned names such as international star Kylie Minogue and her sister Dannii, The Veronicas are currently the number one favourites to be selected to represent the nation in Eurovision 2017.

With a career spanning over a decade, twin sisters Jessica and Lisa Origliasso have made a name for themselves as The Veronicas both nationally and internationally, having headlined a number of tours over the years as well as releasing a total of 3 studio albums to date, each charting in countries spanning the globe!

Earlier this year, it was announced that the sister-duo would temporarily replace The Madden Brothers as the judges of The Voice Australia, creating a positive response from the public and going on to be offered a permanent place on the panel.

Although The Veronicas are the most prominent names to appear to date, other rumoured acts include artists such as Justice Crew, Darren Hayes, Dan Sultan and Empire of the Sun.

Currently, SBS has not revealed their selection plans for the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest with more details expected in the coming weeks. It is likely the broadcaster will opt for an internal selection as with the past 2 years.
