The Finnish broadcaster Yle has a tradition of producing music videos to all of the participants in Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu. The videoclips for the 2017 entries are now out, and the video of the winning entry is highly likely to be the Finnish preview video for Eurovision 2017.
Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu 2017, the Finnish national final, will be held on 28 January in the Espoo Metro Areena, hosted by Krista Siegfriends. A mixture of international juries and televotes will decide who gets the ticket to Kyiv.
The ten participating entries were announced in November along with simple lyric videos. The videoclips are available for watching on Yle’s website and will probably be available on YouTube later on.
The participating entries are:
- Alva – Arrows
- Anni Saikku – Reach out for the sun
- Club La Persé – My little world
- Emma – Circle of light
- Günther & D’Sanz – Love yourself
- Knucklebone Oscar & The Shangri-La Rubies – Caveman
- Lauri Yrjölä – Helppo elämä
- My First Band – Paradise
- Norma John – Blackbird
- Zühlke – Perfect villain
