The head producer of the next Eurovision Song Contest is Arvids Babris, the Latvian Television head director, who has also lead the Latvian delegation to the Eurovision Song Contest a number of years in a row.

The Latvian state television wrote that in a letter to the European Broadcasting Union. They also names three possible venues for the contest.

LTV named the Kipsala expo hall, the Skonto Olympic Stadium and the Ventspils Olympic Center as the three possible locations for organizing the televized show next May.

Last week Latvia's government already guaranteed the funding needed for organizing the Eurovision song contest in Latvia in May 2003, after Marija Naumova won the contest in Tallinn.
