EBU’s announcement of the changes in the way the running order of the next Eurovision Song Contest will be done has triggered a great number of reactions from fans and broadcasters. Mr. Michael Kealy, the Executive Producer for Entertainment at RTE, Radio Telefis Eireann has expressed that he welcomes anything that makes the show better for television viewers and hopes that the Irish entry is strong enough to compensate for what may be perceived to be an undesirable spot in the running order.

Michael Kealy told Esctoday.com ” I will say that generally we welcome anything that makes the show better for television viewers, obviously being placed at certain points in the running order has advantages and disadvantages but we hope that our entry will be strong enough to compensate for what may be perceived to be an undesirable spot in the running order.”
