Biography
A lovely favourite for the title, Mary Christy is an Italian girl who has lived in Paris for the past three years having lived previously in Germany and Luxembourg. She is apparently a very shy girl but the Monacasque delegation maintain she lights up like a flower when she appears on stage. Next week she is scheduled to appear on French TV in a major musical produced by Gilbert Bécaud. Mary will of course be hoping to repeat Séverine's success for Monaco in the Dublin Eurovision. The composers of her song are a formidable trio indeed - between them they have written for Maurice Chevalier, Mireille Matthieu, Caterina Valente and many other well known names.
