Biography
In this year of comebacks to the Eurovision stage Gary Lux was the one but last of this categorie to enter the Eurovision stage. His first participation in the Eurovision Song Contest had been with Westend and the song Hurricane in the 1983 contest.
Mick Jackson (born in the UK) is best known for writing the song Blame It On The Boogie. Initially recorded by himself, it soon afterwards was recorded by the American group The Jacksons. Battling for the biggest hit, Mick finally had to surrender to the power of the Jacksons' promotion machine, still achieving a deserving 15th position in the UK charts.
