Biography
This year sees some familiar names in the Israeli ranks. Izhar Cohen is back after his victory in 1978 with Ah-Bah-Neeh-Beeh, this time without the Alphabeta. His song is composed by the composer of 1979's winning song Hallelujah, Kobi Oshrat. He teamed up this year with Hamutal Ben-Ze'ev in a bid to have Izhar Cohen winning a second time for Israel.
