Biography
Gérard Lenorman's life-long ambition has been to be a singer. He wrote his first song when he was 12. He was 15 when Brigitte Bardot sang one of his compositions. Another of his songs was rated the third most popular song of the century after "La Mer" and "Les feuilles mortes". A regular performer at the Paris Olympia and the Palais des Congrès, he also has a string of golden discs to his credit and is fast becoming one of France's leading singing stars.
Claude Lemesle collaborated with composer Gérard Lenorman in writing the lyrics of "Chanteur de Charme". Claude's varied career spans two decades of song writing. He has written for such prominent singers as Nana Mouskouri (ESC 1963), Mireille Mathieu, Johnny Hallyday, and Sacha Distel.
Guy Matteoni started his musical career as a member of a pop group. He later became assistant to the famous movie composer Michel Magne. He has arranged several French hits and conducted France's 1979 Eurovision entry which was sung by Anne-Marie David. [Notes from the Official 1988 Programme by RTÉ]
