Biography
Burak Aydos, singer, lyricist, and composer of 'Esmer Yarim' was born in Ankara in 1972. He studied the double bass at the state Conservatory of Hacettepe University and as a pupil of Metin Tufan studied solfeggio, composition and piano. In 1991, with his composition 'Violets', he was a finalist in the 'Golden Antenns' Song Contest organised by the Turkish Radio Television Corporation. Burak Aydos will be accompanied by Serter and Baybora Öztürk (vocalists).
Quite apart from his life as a musician, Burak Aydos is studying Public Management and Political Science at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Science of Bilkent University.
The Turkish song has been arranged by Mete Artun and Burak Aydos and will be performed with pre-recorded instrumental backing. [From the 1993 Programme by RTÉ]
