Biography
Patrick Fiori, 24, the youngest of five children, hails originally from the Corsican town of Cargese. Although still at the beginning of his career, Patrick has been chosen to represent France because of his exceptional talent and artistic personality. He will be making his first appearance before a European audience.
François Valéry has always known what he wanted to be: a singer. With his initial efforts as a teenager he experienced immediate success. 'A Summer Song', 'Prince Of Love' and 'Lady Music' gave him his first taste of popularity. He is unique among the blockbusters of contemporary French singing in that he is also a composer.
He has written for Michèle Torr, one of his teenage idols who has also participated in the Eurovision Song Contest, in 1966 for Luxembourg and in 1977 for Monaco. He also contributed the main theme to the film 'Joy'. He has also composed three complete film scores.
His 1991 album 'Tout Est Écrit' was hailed as one of his best up to that time and was followed by 'Vies Antérieures', an 18-track statement of the future direction of this prodigiously talented singer-songwriter.
