Biography
Ingibjörg Stefánsdóttir, or Inga as she is called, is the latest star to rise in the world of Icelandic rock music. Last year, this young singer and actress had the leading role in the record-breaking Icelandic film 'Wallpaper' (Veggfoíur).
She began singing at the age of twelve with the Icelandic National Opera and in recent years has been singing with the band 'Piece Of Cake'. A popular photographic and fashion model, she has become an overnight Icelandic star due to the success of the film 'Wallpaper'.
Jon-Kjell Seljeseth is a Norwegian who emigrated to Iceland. He has produced more than twenty Top Tens and has worked with most of Iceland's previous Eurovision entries and appears in this year's contest as composer and conductor of Iceland's entry.
Friðrik Sturlúson graduated as a graphic designer, but has made his career in music. He is a member of the outstanding Icelandic group 'Sálin' and has written most of the lyrics for their songs. He also writes for other Icelandic bands and likes to be involved in the composition of both lyrics and music. [From the 1993 Programme by RTÉ]
