Biography
Alma Cardzic was born in Magiaj in 1968, and became involved in music at a very early age. Despite the interruptions in her musical career during the current hostilities, she has become very popular throughout Bosnia for her songs Let there be peace in Bosnia and Sarajevo, My City.
Dejan Lazarevic is a native of Sarajevo and comes from a musical family. He studied classical flute, before turning to the composition and performance of pop songs, and, despite being badly injured in the war he has continued with his career, achieving great success wih his song City of Defiance.
The brothers Edo and Adi Mulahalilovic are also natives of Sarajevo, who work completely in tandem as composers, writers and arrangers. Their albums have sold over a million and a half copies and they have also been appearing as a duo for the past three years. [Notes from the Official 1994 Programme by RTÉ]
