Biography
Jan Johansen, 29, is the son of famous Jazz drummer Egil Johansen. Jan studied music and has been pursuing his career as a singer/songwriter. His first English-language album, for which he composed some of the songs, had just been released at the time of the contest. For the past five years Jan has been touring with a band but is now concentrating on a solo career.
Håkan Almqvist & Bobby Ljunggren are a composer duo greatly in demand in Sweden. they have been working together for almost ten years and have both been members of groups before taking their individual directions. They now own a record company and a music publishing company. They have produced numerous albums and have written countless songs for Scandanavia's top performers.
Ingela "Pling" Forsman worked as a record producer before becoming one of Sweden's top lyricists. She has also translated lyrics for a number of Walt Disney films and frequently translates musicals, such as Cats and Grease into Swedish. [Notes from the Official 1995 Programme by RTÉ]
