Biography

Arzu Ece was born in Istanbul in 1963. At the age of 13 she took part in a local singing competition and she was given the opportunity of recording her first single. Since finishing school she has sung with several bands. Arzu has taken part in many national and international song contests such as Vina del Mar in Chile, the Bratislava Festival in Czechoslovakia and the 1989 Eurovision Song Contest in Switzerland, being part of the group Pan. Backing vocals for Arzu are provided by Sertan Belciler, Fusun Coskum and Ece Sandalli. The entry has been choreographed by Berrin Sen.

Melih Kibar was born in Istanbul in 1951. At the age of eight he attended the Conservatory there and then went on to graduate as a chemical engineer from Bosphorus University. He was inspired to pursue his musical talent after the national success of his song writing during his university days. He has since participated in many international music festivals. In the 1986 ESC his song Halley represented Turkey in Norway. Klips ve Onlar took his song to the highest position for a Turkish entry yet, the 9th position.

Zeynep Talu was born in 1967, also in Istanbul. Since 1984 she has followed in the footsteps of her mother when she became recognised as one of Turkey's top lyricists. In 1994 she wrote her first musical which was performed by the Turkish State Opera and Ballet of Istanbul. Zeynep has written lyrics for many songs which have been in the Turkish charts.
