Biography
Fanny is 17 now, but she has been singing professionally since she was eight. At the age of 12 she started recording with EMI, while working with Jean-Jacques Soupley. Her first album, launched after a TV appearance when she was 12, quickly went to gold. Two years later came her second album, Fanny, and she is working on a third. When she is not performing, Fanny is getting for her Bac in school in her home town, Sete.
Jean-Paul Dreau's compositions for many artists have sold millions of discs worldwide. He has written songs for international singers like Elton John and many French singers; and has several gold and platinum discs to his name. He has been awarded the Diamant de la Chanson Franchise, Prix Rolf Marbeau, Grand Prix de la SACEM and Antenne d 'Or. [Notes from the Official 1997 Programme by RTÉ]
