Biography
Tanja Ribic was born in 1968 in Trbovlje, and grew up with twin passions- singing and soccer. She sang in a band in school, and went on to study drama in the University of Ljubljana. When she graduated in 1991 she joined the Civic Theatre of Ljubljana, where she is a leading comedy and character actress. She also works in film and musicals.
Sašo Lošic was born in Bosnia in 1964. He composes pop and ethnic music, and scores for plays and films. He led a group described as one of the cultural phenomena of the 1980s, Plavi Orkestar (The Blue Orchestra), who were greeted with teenybopper hysteria. He has sold four million albums and given 1,500 concerts around the world.
Zoran Predin is a musician, poet and songwriter who has written many scores for Slovene films, TV series and plays, as well as popular songs. His anti-estabilshment group Lanci Franz (Hungry Franz) was a hit in the former Yugoslavia. He has recorded nine LPs and five CDs. [Notes from the Official 1997 Programme by RTÉ]
