Biography
Goran Karan is 35 years of age and comes from Split, on the Dalmatian coast. He started his musical career 17 years ago and has sung with quite a number of rock bands: Epicentar, Crna udovica, Zippo and Big blue. It was not until he started working with Zdenko Runjic that his career as a solo artist really took off. In 1999, he became the most successful Croatian male singer, thanks to his début solo album. He has already taken part in two Croatian pre-selections for Eurovision. In 1998 he came second with "Bolero" and third in 1999 with "Nisam te vrijedan" (I am not worthy of you). Goran is a member of Hare Krishna och lives with his wife and two children.
Zdenko Runjic was born in Slavonski Brod 1942, but lives in Split since 1945. He has been writing songs since 1961 and by now he has written well over 600. Recently he was crowned as the best composer of the 20th century by the newspaper Slobodna Dalmacija, and it is perhaps not so surprising that he has his own song festival - Melodije Hrvatskog Jadrana - which also happens to be the most popular one in Croatia. Zdenko Runjic got his break-through at the 1967 edition of the Split festival, when he started his collaboration with Oliver Dragojevic, one of Croatia’s most popular artists even today. He is extremely scared of flying and is not sure how he is going to get to Stockholm.
Nenad Nincevic used to be the leader of the extremely popular Split group Tutti Frutti, but has continued on his own since the group disbanded. In recent years, he has had many songs and lyrics in the Croatian Eurovision pre-selections.
