Biography
Monica Anghel is one of the most highly regarded singers in the country and she has taken part in the Romanian National Final before. She is also known abroad, in 1998 she won first prize at an international festival in Australia with her song "As long as I shall live". She is the Romanian pop-singer with the most prizes, in national and international contests, between them trophies in Australia, Egypt, Macedonia, Kazachstan, Czech Republic, Romania. She studied canto in USA and she graduated the drama section of a university in Bucharest. She sang in the opening of Ray Charles and Julio Iglesias concerts.
Marcel Pavel, the other half of the duo, has reached the hitparade with many songs in his own country and has participated in various local songcontests. He is recognized as the best male singer in Romania, were he has a great popularity. He had the chance to sing on stages from France, Germany, Italy, Holland, Switzerland, Austria, Hungary and USA. A beautiful voice, a great performer who won a lot of national prizes and released many songs which were No.1 in Top.
