Biography
Stelios Constantas was born in Larnaca and started enjoying music when he was very young at the age of five and that was when he bought his first album. Soon after, he began studying music and guitar in Larnaca Music School. For a long period he was playing football his hometown but fortunately his love for music was bigger, so I decided to put this at an end.
His professional music career started about 10 years ago. He had the honour to work with very names such as George Hadjinasios, Marios Tokas, Anna Vissy and Margarita Zorbala. Also with Marios Meletiou and Aristos Moshovakis in Cyprus.
In 1994 his first album “Apopse Stin Skopia” was a tremendous hit in Cyprus. Three more albums followed, which made him well-known.
For the past two years he has been in Athens and has worked with Nikos Kourkoulis and Antique, in a well-known place.
Recently, a mini-album has been released by V2 Records in Greece and Cyprus with the title name “Me Taxidevis”.
The selection of his song “Feeling Alive” to represent Cyprus in this year’s Eurovision song contest has made him very happy and given him the responsibility to perform well in Latvia.“Feeling Alive” happens to be his first song as a songwriter and has been released as a CD single by V2 Records.
