Biography
1985 she sings together with FORTE in the MAMAIA SONG FESTIVAL; she is awarded the “Fantazio theatre” prize together with FORTE she takes part in MELODII 85 contest
1986 together with Cristina Fronea, ex-FORTE, she founds ADAGGIO group; in two years they have more than 200 concerts together with Holograf
1988 she starts her solo career together with RIFF; she chose Nicoleta Nicola as her stage name; she has many local concerts
1992 she takes part in the first selection of the Eurovision Song Contest with a song called “Balerina”
1994 she takes part in the second national Eurovision Song Contest selection with a song “Doar amintiri”
1995 together with other Romanian artists she sings in Cannes, Monaco, Swiss
1996 she takes part in the third national ESC selection with a song called “Undeva departe esti tu”
1998 4th national ESC selection with a song “Europa”; she sings together with well known Romanian artists – Laura Stoica, Aurelian Temisan, Mihai Aleksandru, Luminita Anghel and Daniela Vladescu
1999 Nicola’s first E.P. is issued by Media Pro Music her songs are widely broadcasted by local radio and TV stadions she is invited to sing in big shows like Eclipsa 99, Reveliunea 2000 and ProFM Propaganda
2000 the L.P. Turquoise is issued by Media Pro Music she is invited to take part in radio and TV shows she takes part in the fifth national ESC selection with a song “I Feel Good”
2002 she takes part in the sixth national ESC with a song “I do” she is awarded the second prize for the song “Linga mine” in the MAMAIA SONG FESTIVAL Cat Music Media Services issues her second L.P. “Linga mine”
2003 she is awarded the “Woman of the Year” prize by “Avantaje” magazine “Linga mine” is awarded “The Song of the Year” prize by “Bucuresti” and “Actualitati” Radio stadions she is awarded the “Love Song Festival” trophy for the song “Linga mine” she wins the national ESC selection with the song “Don’t break my heart”
