Eight songs participated in the national final. Six of them had been cosen through the semi finals and another two were added through the second chance round. The winner was chosen in two rounds of televoting with the first one selecting the top three and the second one selecting the winner. Like the semi finals, the show was held at the Leonardo Hall in Tampere and hosted by Jaana Pelkonen & Mikko Peltola.
