The nine semi final qualifiers are joined by another three wildcards. The winner will be chosen by televoting alone. The national final will be held at the National Palace of Culture in Sofia, just like the heats, quarter finals and the semi final.

The nine qualifiers from the three quarter finals were joined by no less than nine wildcards, seven of them were new to the competition, another two had been eliminated in the quarter finals. In this semi final, a jury selected nine songs for the national final. Only one of the nine winners originally qualified through the heats and quarter finals. The other eight entries were all wildcards, six of those that were new to the competition after the quarter finals and the other two that were given a second chance. Just like the heats and quarter finals, the semi final was hosted by Neli Atanasova and Drago Draganov.
