Biography

Lars A. Fredriksen was born in 1971 at Skien in southern Norway. He is a soloist with the celebrated Oslo Gospel Choir, which has toured all over the world and sold more than 700,000 CDs. Lars has been singing all his life and is familiar with many pop and rock styles.

David Eriksen (composer) is one of Norway’s most productive composers, including work on several recent record releases. The broadcaster NRK invited him to write a tune for Norway’s national Eurovision Song Contest event. When he was looking for an artist to perform his song, it took only a few moments of listening to Lars’ voice to know that he had found his singer.

Linda Andernach Johannesen is a journalist in her home town of Skien in Southern Norway. The writer of several lyrics for, and in co-operation with, Lars A. Fredriksen, she is also a music leader in the local parish.

Geir Langslet is a composer, arranger and record producer. A member of the group Lava for several years, he has also been a studio musician involved in some 50 recordings. Geir has been on tour with several major Norwegian artists and conducted Norway’s last two entries at the Eurovision Song Contest. [Notes from the Official 1998 Programme by the BBC]
