First presentation of her Eurovision entry

Ruslana to perform at Eurodziesma?

Ruslana Lyzhichko, Ukraine's representative this year, will present her Eurovision entry for the first time at the Latvian final Eurodziesma on 28 February, where she is going to perform as interval act, if we may believe Marco Brey of OGAE Germany.
There has been thoughts of holding a mini song selection with four songs for Ruslana, who was internally selected by Ukrainian broadcaster earlier on, but due to a lack of time and problems with organising it those plans were axed. The song Ruslana is going to perform in the qualifier's round on 12 May is currently being recorded in London. It will be a new song, which will be included to her new album Wild Dances 2, to be released later this year. The song Ruslana sung during her performance as interval act of the Maltese Song for Europe final some days ago is not her Eurovision entry, but an older song from her first album, if we are to believe our source. We currently try to get a statement from Latvian broadcaster LTV about this story. Please stay tuned...
