Dustin: I’ve been in television 13 or 14 years now and have never experienced anything like this before and its just mad, but i'm shocked and delighted!
Ryan: are you bothered about being booed at all?
Dustin: it was relatives of the other contestants!!! But I thank everyone and can’t believe it am not over the shock yet!
Ryan: what were the other contestants reactions to your win?
Dustin: they're abit "ticked off" over it, but am just looking for a free flight to Serbia!
Ryan: Everyone wants to interview you now when you get there and so good luck.

WHO WIL WIN EUROVISION ??
A sad day for Ireland. Where has our national pride and diginty gone to? But then again when over one third of Ireland's population consist of numbskull Dublin people who think that Dustin is funny and who mostly dont know who their fathers are, what would one expect? Well I hope this bombs and Ireland get ridiculed and laughed at by the rest of Europe. I cant believe I so anti my own country's entry this year but I so angry that this crap is going to represent us.
I think this is the perfect repsonse to last year's nil points for Ireland. The Brits haven't ever responded to their nil points in anyway except send more of the same!
ive watched/heard the performance at irelands NF and i must say the song isnt bad. i like the lyrics and music, i just dont like dustins vocals....yes i know its all part of the act.

Lovin it, after coming bottom last year it's a natural selection of song, reminds me a bit of Ukraine last year, but with the foil off this time :-). Remember a turkey is not just for Christmas but can be for Eurovision as well! Just hope the BBC lets us see it on Tues 20th May... have great ESC '08 everyone.
Two possible scenarios:
a) Ireland qualifies for the Final where it will do well, or
b) the Eurovision purists who watch the Semis will give it the cold shoulder (as with Silvia Night) and it won't make the Final.
If you come from a country what knows how to write a song, then DO SO!
I find this song terrible, I have serious doubts whether it qualifies as a song at all, but... I am pretty confident that this song will score well and will steal one of the 10 first qualifying places from another participant who would deserve getting through the final much more.
ESC is a freak show. That's all.

@edin Boy : i am afraid that people will vote for this rubbish like they did in 06-07 ! Anyway esc is becoming a circus so why take it seriously! I miss the days that almost every country had good song!s ! ANyway GOod luck Ireland!
@ Adonis My point is that these countries didn't vote for Ireland when they had better songs they are very unlikely to vote for this rubbish
@Edin boy! Maybe if Ireland sends good songs The countries that you mention will vote for IReland again! You forgot that Ireland had a 1000 douze points in the '90s so dont blame the countries! In Athens Ireland did a good job so??? what is your point? I think Ireland lost track in the last 8 years (except in 06)
After last nights result (where RTE deliberatley selected another 5 mediocre/nondescript songs to give the bird the best chance of winning) I have done some reseach on another website and have consoled myself that being in the semi final it is in there is no way this emabarrassment of a song can make it to the final. Here are the votes that Irelands' fellow semi finalists (including Spain and Germany with voting rights in this semi) have given it since 2000:
Andorra have only ever give 6 points to Ireland in total
Aremenia have only ever given 3 points to Ireland in total
Azerbaijan of course first year, so who knows, I doubt any points
Belgium have Ireland 8 points since 2000, so doubtful for points there; Bosnia have given Irealnd only 4 points since 2000
Estonia have given Irealnd only 18 points since 2000:Finland have given Ireland only 9 points since 2000: Greece have given Ireland 0 since 2000: Israel have given Ireland 7 points since 2000: Moldova have only ever given Ireland 1 point: Montengro as part of Serb-Mont only ever gave Ireland 1 point and 0 as Montenegro: Netherlands have given Irealand only 10 since 2000
Norway have given Ireland 25 point since 2000: Poland have given 6 points since 2000: Romania have given Ireland 9 points since 2000:Russia have given Irealnd 1 point since 2000: Slovenia only 6 points to Irealnd since 2000: Germany 4 and Spain 3.
As these are all countries that take the ESC seriously, I predict a bottom or close to bottom finish for this insult to the ESC. After this contest RTE and Ireland should leave the ESC

no offence, but check each of the balkan votes for the past 10 years, and the same with the ex-Soviet votes!!! nothing "fair and square" about that, I'm afraid.
If Molitva had been entered by Belgium it wouldn't have even got through the semi's, however good it is.

2nd place for them was definitely NOT a deserved placing.

ESC is a celebration of SONG and MULTICULTURALISM.
A JOKE song is usually sent to attract the younger SMS voters. This is probably why ESC multi-winner IRELAND 
has "dared" to send such a song to Belgrade! Nothing wrong with it, as long as they feel it represents their country well.

Now, what part of the EAST ruined the ESC exactly???
Last year's Serbian entry "Molitva" won fair and square on ESC Final night. You may also remember that most OGAE members voted it as the song that would win ...
It's a shame that Ireland is sending that entry while they could have sent ex. Enya or Lisa Kelly etc.
At least help the man behind the turkey sing as better as it's possible, especially the beginning is horrible!
However, they'll do well -unfortunately for the Contest's level...
After 2nd place for Verka last year, I'm not surprised about this, despite the song is not bad at all if you're drunk.
whats wrong with some of you ppl? get a life. its meant to be a bad entry to sum up the stupidity of it all, thats why the televoters voted for it. listen to the lyrics - where did it all go wrong, bloc voting etc etc. i really hope it wins and then ireland pulls out and refuses to host it next year.

Dustins lyrics are a silent or loud protest From RTE to ESC of the way it has become as circus...so why should ireland make an effort in future
