being russia it should be in top 5. if this song was repreenting another country, it wont even qualify. some things are so obvious in life..

Funny how many times Ive read so far that ' Never let you go ' was a ''brilliant song'' or ''so much better''...

Surely you people realise the only reason this guy got votes was because of the girl in the piano and russia's friendly neighbours?
Lordi beat him, theyd probably eat him if they got the chance... I still hope they will one day..

''Never let you go'' was predictible europop as there are dozens of songs every year, he basically has the same song now. And this guy couldnt even pronounce english, and whats infinitely worse - he still can't.

Could we maybe start an action to all vote for Portugal, Belgium or the Netherlands to get the contest back to real music and save it from this kind of drivel?

Original songs! Now!

Nice song Russia! Not better than in 2006 but not worst either, and that's the most important!

Keith - yes, many singers have submitted to the "Mariah Carey" syndrome - though she (sadly) wasn't the first.

Thing is - at least Mariah is usually in key and can hit the high notes. This guy doesn't. It's not only the style but his lack of ability and terrible pronunciation.

Good song! Well done, Russia! Dima was very good in Athens 2006 and I hope that he will be even better this year! :)

@Mark Wood, thank you for uploading your song. It's very nice. And I hope you don't take what I say personal; I'm not trying to suggest that your style of singing is in any way inferior to Dima Bilan's style. I'm merely pointing out that music is all about variety, and that what sounds good to some might sound terrible to others. I think you will agree there are examples of this in any genre of music. And although I agree that there certainly exists a fair number of people in the music industry who dislike this embellished singing style, I'm sure you realise that there's a lot of people out there who like it too. This vocal style has been around since Mariah Carey entered the charts in 1990, and there are no signs yet of its popularity decreasing. That may not please the learned ear - but if I'm not mistaken, not a whole lot of pop music does.

Nice song. Too harmless I think. His song 2006 was better.

Well, it's nice that we will see him, although I hoped Sergey Lazarev would win. Perhaps some fans are not happy about Bilan's come back, but I think his song is good and that is far better than entries from Estonia, Ireland and (this one really hurts, since it's one of my fav ESC countries) Spain.

What's the problem that he represents Russia again? Many artists have represented their countries more than once, even ESC winners. I am against an ESC winner to represent his country again, but if he hasn't won, he has every right to try again!

Again him?? ?

They surely have many others who could represent Russian culture...

I just have to say a few things about Dima Bilan and his song!
I agree to a lot of people who say that his accent isn't the best, I must admit that it's quite horrible, but over all, he sings very well. The song isn't the best Russian entry ever (even if I wouldn't be surprised if Dima take the Eurovision to Moscow, Russia 2009), however, compared to a lot of the other songs this year, Russia has one of the best songs. Dima Bilan has a good voice, people will recognize him from last time, a lot of teen age girls will "fall in love" with him (again). Russia also have a lot of neighbouring countries. So as I said, I won't be surprised if he wins in Belgrade. The song is okay, he sings it well (apart from his accent), but I truly hope that he skips the "high note" in Belgrade because it might ruin his chances.
But then again, I might be wrong. After all, it's just my opinion.

I dont like it. He's not singing that good this year.. His accent is extremely strong this time..

Idk.. It can be ok for singers to try again at Eurovision. But such a huge country like Russia with more than 100 million ppl there. Shouldn't allow singers to compete again in their preselections.

"What a phony, fake guy he is. Crying like a bad actor as if he has acomplished anything by his talent. I think success has turned him to a kind of funny diva and i hope he ll deservedly flop in Belgrade.

The artist formerly known as Dima Bilan, should be renamed as Diva Bilan."

You 'r absolutly right!!!

Esctoday have wrong info.
Bilan"s Believing wasnt produced by Timbaland,
song(musi/lyrics) was wrtten by Jim Beanz.
I doubt Timbaland himself knows who Dima Bilan is.
