As Little Tony could not be present due to personal reasons, Vince Tempera acting president of the SMRV committee, stated that they selected Miodio with Complice as they had a good song the band performs well and also as they are from San Marino. Nicola Vella, lead singer of Miodio stated that they still cannot believe they have been selected and bass guitarist Polly said that they are rewarded for all the years of their hard work.

the best esc year after 2000 it was 2004..!!
Ciao! Welcome to ESC San Marino! What a nice entry, good luck from Finland!
Francisco Mateo Artero, are you serious? First, you say you don't like this song. Second, you say this is, probably, the worst edition of the contest ever...
And then you put Spain in the Top 5! Do you think that rubbish has chances to get the Top 24? No way! LOL
I have ceased to take this site seriously as a gauge of a songs' popularity. Seems like most people are more concerned with bitching about a song than criticizing it constructively.
San Marino's song sounds good ... probably too good for Eurovision. I think the acoustic one is even better too. It would probably stand out. The rock version is likely to sound too similar to Turkey's song.
WS - yes it does remind me of Radiohead ... the acoustic version sounds very much like "No Surprises" but I don't think it's plagiarized. It's just similar in style.
This is a good entry goodluck san marino, should do well.
This is not enough to judge from. Pau PV you give the best assessment of this years contest that I've seen. I totally agree! & best of luck San Marino!
Iceland and Ukraine the best, San marino seems nice too!!

omg im falling in love with this song everytime i hear it! san marino you deserve to win!!! viva gli italiani!!!!!
Certainly it's not bad, but his voice doesn't convince me at all... it seems to much amateur and unstable, but anyway I'll wait until the complete song.
I also think this is not the worst year. There are very good songs, such as Israel, Switzerland, Poland, Hungary, Russia, Serbia, France, UK, Turkey, Armenia, Bosnia, Belgium, Iceland, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania or Germany, and there's a lot of variety too, for example, hard metal (Finland), funny songs (Ireland, Estonia), reggaeton (Spain), classic ballads (Poland, Romania, Hungary), ethnic ballads (Serbia, Israel, Portugal), rock (Turkey, Montenegro), opera rock (Azerbaijan), pop (Greece, Switzerland, Germany, Denmark), remember (France), eurotrash (Andorra), atypical songs (Moldova, Bosnia, Belgium), dance (Iceland), oriental music (the Netherlands), mixes (Bulgaria), etc... And we also have national recognized artists taking part in this contest: Dima Bilan for Russia (with a song by Timbaland), Sirusho for Armenia, Ani Lorak for Ukraine, Sébastien Fellier for France, Hind for the Netherlands, Paolo Meneguzzi for Switzerland, Kalomoira for Greece, Dustin the turkey for Ireland, Mor ve Ötesi for Turkey, Teräsbetoni for Finland, Gisela for Andorra...
Good luck from Denmark!
top 5: 1 Spain 2 Ireland 3 Estonia 4 Croacia 5 Letonia ,
I don't think this is the worst year, it is better than 2002, 2004 and 2006 which were much weaker imo.
the litle part what i hear from san marino ,i dont like, is not my taste, and i dont now if this happen only to me , but i put a question : is not really this year ,the more bad festival ever?????
really, i dont hear one song what i can say ,oh yes , this is really good, anyway, i go to enjoy the festival like every year
It seems nice, but when are we going to listen to the full version? I kinda liked Casanova before I heard the full version which destroyed the song!
WELLCOME TO EUROVISION
GOOD LUCK FROM TURKEY
Sounds like it could be one of the better entries this year and it's so good to hear Italian songs at Eurovision anyway ;0)
Good luck from Greece to San Marino! I like these snippets!
I can't judge a song by listening to 30 seconds. I will wait until I have heard the whole thing to have a proper opinion. One way or another, it's not gonna be the worst entry, that's for sure.
Good Luck from Sweden!
subsonica meets negramano, the result is ok, it's in my top 10. I hope they'll reach the final
Hm, after listening to these two snippets I must say that I'd have preferred them to choose a rock song like the ones in their MySpace. This ballad is really beautiful but I'm asking myself whether people will appreciate it after listening to it just once. Anyway, it's just a demo so we will have to wait and listen to the definitive version.
P.S. it's not acapella but acoustic.
It sounds really good =]
Hope the rest is good too!
Good luck from the UK
Perhaps they are just giving ua the first part of the song, so we can all be happy if it goes uptempo in the middle.
I agree, nice acapella piano going there!
for me it is a nice song ;] Good luck San Marino! :]
Dont like this very dull and dreary
