Good luck Croatia!

This song could not even qualify for the final, but it's a totally harmless. I agree it's old-fashioned, but it has some charme at the same time.

Patricija, I can name a few songs that are far worse than this: Ireland, Spain, Latvia, Estonia, Malta, Finland. Those are not even pleasant to listen to. Pure noise, that doesn't go anywhere. The Croatian songs doesn't get me a headache, at least.

I genuinely can't stand this entry. In my opinion to say what is worst about it would be to ignore other elements that are just as bad. It will probably do well in certain countries, I couldn't possibly say where, but this will be the most awkward 'performance' for me to watch when May rolls around.

I see those hygienically challenged gentlemen in Zagreb sometimes

How do you know they're hygienically challenged, have you been stalking them around sniffing their armpits or what?? :P

This could be interesting video, can't wait to see it.
The song is really charming, for me it's much better than most of songs for esc 2008 and I am sure Kraljevi ulice will prepare very good performance for Belgrade. I can only wish them good luck!

@JOHN today

I agree. I don't like new modern music either if it's going to be all that crap we hear on the radio, 1000s of recycled hits with some rap in it as well. Yes, why not only send Akon and Fergie-type of songs into ESC, that would be soooo much better, huh? I think I prefer the music in this "old-fashioned" Croatian entry over that.

I like this song, I think it has charm and I love the music in it. I don't like that new scratch-stuff in this version though, it didn't match. It would also be better without that old man's voice - but all in all, I like this song and don't understand why others seem to dislike it so much, because there are so many worse songs than this.

yeah patricja, this song is horrible.
what do you think about albania entry?

I CANNOT BELIEVE WHAT I AM READING HERE!

What kind of people likes the Croatian entry?!

I am Croatian and I hate it. I think it's one of the three worst this year. Maybe only the Estonian is slightly worse.

I see those hygienically challenged gentlemen in Zagreb sometimes. Just disgusting to see them in the streets. But I'll get my payback when they return from Belgrade. I can't wait for it!

THIS SONG reminds me KOZMA DUSHI albanian singer (around 60 years old), who participated this year in festivali i kenges in albania, and he is donig this for 30 years!
by the way john today, this song IS old fashioned , and this song hasnt any chance, but NOT for being old fashioned but it isnt a GOOD song. ballads can be beautiful as molitva (NOT old fashioned), and they can be just .. not good.
by the way, frederik ndoci made a very PASSIONATE performance , with a very proffesional voice. the stage act was ok, why didnt it qulalify?

I just don't like it.... I can't imagine them into the final, and in my opinion this song is n top 5 of the worst one...

I like the Croatian song generally. The old dude could prove to be a slight problem, his shouting about technological waste is off-putting for many and he missed a couple of his cues in Belgrade. I think his "role" in the song needs to be scaled down to bare necessities if this is to really work.

hehe, for a 16-year-old that's polite enough. ;)
I remember that there were quite a few people here who thought Molitva was a boring, old-fashioned ballad that wouldn't stand a chance because only modern uptempo songs would win....
My only point now is: even if you think the croatian song is old-fashioned, don't say that means it's not going to do well, as people will vote for it if it's good enough.
Moreover, you should wait for the performance on the night of the semifinal.

Croatian video clip is great. One of the best cro video clip for esc ever. Only video for danijela's neka mi ne svane and magazin's nostalgija were better then this one.

we are expecting finale for croatia.

You probably mean you liked it, w.s. What exactly makes a song old-fashioned. And then what does it matter whether a song is old-fashioned, as long as it's good; and that's a matter of taste.

Serbia 2007 was far from oldfashioned.

JOHN today [10570]
Sat 15 Mar 2008 17:44:43

Yeah, Serbia 2007 was old-fashioned too. And guess what! :)People will vote for an old-fashioned song as long as it's good enough.

yeah! albania's 2007 was old fashioned too, and people said why would we complain for such a beautiful song... and guess what... 17th! so my dear croatia , no chance this year!!!

JOHN today [10570]
Sat 15 Mar 2008 16:57:59

Good luck, Croatia, I expect you will qualify for the final with this entry!
I don't really see why people are complaining about songs being old-fashioned. What matters is if you like them, whether they're ld-fashioned or not. And if Britney Spears and the likes sing modern songs, I really think I prefer old-fashioned music.
