Ireland: Dustin the Turkey on tour!
As well as being on ITV’s This Morning tv show yesterday (read the interview here) he appeared also on BBC's 1Xtra radio station yesterday with Trevor Nelson in the UK.
For France, french national television station M6 are going to Dublin, Ireland to do a feature on Dustin for their primetime evening magazine show.
While for Spain, Dustin is also travelling to Barcelona next week to appear on the Buenafuente Show on the Spanish National TV Station – La Sexta.

Ireland will be in Eurovision next year, win or lose. The Eurovision will go on, regardless of whether he wins or not. If masks, monsters, transsexuals, transvestites, comics can't harm the competition, puppets won't.
I agree that this song is so absurd and Mikko Serola is right! Ireland will be out this year. There are many songs that are a million times better and deserve to win. The Irish entry is without a doubt 0 puan!!! I hope they send something much better next year and put a stop to this foolishness.

I think Dustin is going to still be a celebrity in Britian now, long after the contest.
One thing though- are there any rules saying the lead singer must be seen? I know you can have hidden backing singers, but I have a feeling it maybe agaist the rules.
Also, if it is agaist the rules-do you think he would be disqualifed? Would the puppeter have to been seen too? I have a feeling the EBU would not want to get rid of him, as he is getting a lot of publicity?
And by the way, My Lovely Horse is miles better
I can´t get this song. Sorry Ireland, Dustin is in the bottom of my list this year..
It may be a gimmick but it is gimmick really well done with a song that is really enjoyable.
I am more sick of Croatian entry, which is hard to watch and listen to, the Macedonian entry that isn't a gimmick but is just really really appalling and Azerbaijan's attempt at being original instead coming across as deranged

Kinda stupid trying to promote in the big countries - It should be way more effective to promote the song/act in the smaller countries

You seem not to realize that songs like this are actually dangerous - because of them, each year there will be less and less people willing to give it a try and write/perform a decent song! Songs like this one should be given cold shoulder as an example!
I don't wanna imagine whatour eyes gonna see next year if this comes first this year...
hello! really i cant understand , why people criticizes RODOLFO CHIKILICUATRE (SPAIN)and no DUSTYN THE TURKEY (IRELAND ) .
RODOLFO is the result, about what he(she) thinks spain , in spain the people are fed up with ordering normal songs and with not obtaining a good position(place), by which the countries of the East are voted(passed) between(among) if. This year they have wanted that it(he,she) is different and have decided to take it with humor, this humor that so much us pleases the Spanish and that always has characterized them. Only I ask for respect for the participants, and that if it(he,she) is respected to a doll also would have to be respected to a person of meat and bone.

eurovision puppets show beggining!!!
As a dedicated Eurovision fan since the 1960's I would like to say that I was devestated when I heard that Dustin was taking part in the Irish Song contest this year. I knew because of his popularity here and his already huge CD sales over the past 18 years that he was always going to win no matter what.
However, much to my surprise, I love this song. It's just great fun, the lyrics are hillarious. We are laughing at ourselves which is not a bad thing and the song is really catchy and well sung by Kitty B......

Please everyone, lighten up and enjoy the song for what it is. If it wins it will be because people all over Europe enjoy it and vote for it and if it doesn't well at least it is great fun and a really good laugh.
My favourite SONGS this year are: Switzerland, Romania, Poland, Sweden & Iceland. Romania actually gives me goose bumps when I listen to it and to be honest, it's about time they won the contest!!
