Eurovision 2008: RTS - No more tickets for live finals
As RTS says, tickets for the Eurovision Song Contest final and semi-finals have been sold out two months ago, but there are still tickets available for rehearsals. People in RTS are glad about "having a new record refering to the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest to be held in Serbia".
This will be the first time there will be 43 participating countries and the first time there will be two semi finals. On top of that, RTS also expect that there will be a record number of accredited journalists and fans attending too.

to the final, try showtimetickets.com EXPENSIVE. and i dont know how serious they are..
I'm sure Portugal's song Senhora do Mar by wonderful Vânia will do great. There will be many at the Arena applauding it. The song, THE VOICE, the melody and the message will make this year's Portuguese entry one that many should vote for. Random polls and official ones predict a good result for Portugal. With good performance on stage and with some sympathetic voting (Portugal has never won the ESC) this song might just do some harm to Sweeden's entry, which although a good song, has no creativity, it is sung by yet another barbie and in general terms is a common song that adds nothing new to this contest. On the opposite side, stands Portugal's entry - creative, new, a masterpiece.
How many people will be on final ?

Most of the tickets were given to the broadcasters and the fan clubs of the coutries, thats why there aren't any of them left. I find this really annoing and elitist. EBU should try another method of selling tickets.

People please let me explain you.... I am from Belgrade and living next to Belgrade Arena.... There is no more tickets for us.... that is for sure.... I don't know where u booked you tickets but i was 4 days ago in Arena to buy tickets and i couldn't buy it cause there was no more tickets!!!!

There's a mistake in this article, I listened to RTS and they said tickets r sold out 2 months BEFORE the ESC.

+ only 19 countries are competing! hard to believe but it might be true as well. Just remember last year's semifinal which had a lot of empty seats + 2004 semifinal

the main problems for all that arrange huge events like E.S.C. are their dependence on sponsors. and a HUGE amount of the tickets are given to different firms, who gives them to their businesspartners and so on. thats why the ticket-office are often sold out, but the ticketholders cant be bothered using them, because they got them for free..

frederic@ well you don't have to watch it, if u call the songs crap that easily, because the songs are great most of them and it's worth to watch it. I don't know what is your expectation.
j k@ don't take zohar rashits comments serious, it don't even worth to reply, he's comments are always pathetic, racist etc he just likes israil. watch he's language "begged", no one begged for anything, I can remind him 2004 stage was the biggest stage, recently anyway, so the arena is surely too massive.
and what more countries is he talking about and there was only one semi not semi's, thats why it's two semi's this year, there are more countries in semi's this year not previously.
and yes surely it will increase because there are more countries participating and nearly all countries are in semis then final.
They always claim its sold out and no doubt there will be loads of empty seats appearing on the tv. Weird

This article is incorrect. Tickets are sold out for the final only. I just checked on the official ticket website - url=www.tickets.co.yu]www.tickets.co.yu/url] - and there are 4472 tickets left for the first semi and 3165 tickets left for the 2nd semi.
I haven't received my tickets or an email from Fedex yet. They were supposed to start on 15th March... dear oh dear...
