Promotional campaign in Spain!
Spain: Chiki Chiki promo tour begins...
Baila El Chiki Chiki has become a massive hit in hence being the most downloaded telephone mp3 song and ringtone currently in Spain.
Rodolfo appeared this morning on the new morning chat show Esta Manana, conducted by Pepa Bueno along with his family to be interviewed . You can watch the interview here.
The lyrics of Baila El Chiki Chiki have been changed to obide by the EBU rules and regulations, hence the song has been extended to last 3 minutes and English lyrics have been added. Rodolfo urges his European fans to vote for him in French and English. The new version of the song has been uploaded on the Spanish entry's official page with subtitles both in French and English.

Sorry Spain, not strong enough. I normally like your entries but this year, no. Sweden - too obvious. Greece - crap, instantly forgettable and she can't sing. Switzerland, too obvious (bring back the vampires!!) Ireland - rubbish, get over the fact that, like the UK, you can never win again and pull out. No doubt bosnia or something will win - the eastern bloc have it all sewn up

This entry has many chances and big ESC potential - televoters love freaky acts : Guildo, Raab, Poier, Verka....will be a dark horse but a nation wide PR campain makes little sense IMO as it is already a big hit - needs some international PR.
This song is crap. Spain, you had the most refreshing and intresting selection format this year, how come you chose something like this?

My predicition is that Rodolfo will place 6th in the final. He will get the LT United and Alf Poier votes.
I don't know why people hate it so much ... it's three minutes of mindless fun. Why does everyone has to be so serious? Might also become this summer's Macarena or Asereje who knows?

Nothing has gone wrong in Spain. This is all done on purpuse. From day 1, his promoters said that they wanted to wreck Spain's entry in ESC, because it's crap anyway and it's only watched by puffs.

What's the problem with this song¿¿??? Ok, it may not be Molitva,... but it's not as boring as many other this year's entries (Montenegro,Georgia,UK,belgium ,netherlands,denmark,hungary,p oland,lithuania,...)
I also contend that not only does everybody know the moves but they have at least done the robocop part once if not the whole thing!!!!!

Referring back to my other comment it makes sense because he'll sell there and make more money that way. Winning Eurovision ain't as big a payer as actually selling the song and obviously he has a better chance of doing that in Spain
What is the point in promoting your song for ESC in the only country that CAN'T vote for it?
