You won't have much luck with Virgin, according to them Ireland is part of the UK.
You should be able to download it from url=http://www.goldendiscsdigital.ie]http://www.goldendiscsdigital.ie/url] from Friday.

"If Northern Ireland got a chance to participate in ESC, who would it give it's 12 points to?"
Answer: Poland/Latvia/Lithuania. Much like the Ireland vote goes to, courtesy of the Poles, Latvians, and Lithuanians resident here.
@Pat
OK, here's a newsflash: Serbs, Croats, Macedonians, people from Bosnia, Slovenians... we speak a language that is almost the same. Furthermore, performers that are popular say, in Croatia are popular in Bosnia and Serbia as well. And vice versa: singers from Serbia have a huge fan base in other ex-Yu countries. Long story short: not very long ago, we were in the same country. And yes, we could say that we share a similar taste when it comes to music. I guess we could say the same for ex Soviet countries. And Scandinavian countries. And Spain - Portugal - Andorra triangle. What do you think, If Northern Ireland got a chance to participate in ESC, who would it give it's 12 points to?
In spite of that, Greece won the competition in 2005. Finland won in 2006. The last time when a Ex-Yu country won before 2007. was... ummm... never?
And as for Ireland, don't get me wrong, Ireland is one of my favourite countries (I even started learning Gaeilge). I especially loved Brian's song in 2006., it was really nice one. But that's not enough. It was never enough, I'm afraid.
Still, I deeply believe that the most important thing is to chose a song that will represent your country the best way possible. Hypothetically speaking, I'd rather see Serba at the bottom, with 0 points with a song like "Oro" than at the top of the scoreboard with a rubbish song.
"But you cannot compare Verka to Dustin, and the reason is simple: Dustin is a doll, for Christ's sake!"
I'd be worried if we were comparing Dustin to Verka. I would prefer a puppet rather than a transsexual. I refused to even listen, never mind watch the Ukraine and Denmark last year.
The Balkan countries have a lot to thank Ireland for in this contest. Most of them began their time in the competition between 93 and 95 when Ireland hosted it.
Why would i want to download this CRAP!?
...when it is countries like yours which have made the competition into the joke it is now.
Possibly but I shudder to think what joke the competition would have become without the input of the countries which have been joining in since 1993. Probably another seven victories for Ireland...
Oh and another thing, it's not just a doll, it's Dustin The Turkey!
Given that you've probably never heard of him, its no wonder the humour is lost on yeah...
Ivana who are ye coddin here? Ireland, bar 2005, has put serious entries in year on year, and while they may not have been the best, they were definitly better than some. But thanks to Eastern European countries, the top 10 songs were voted for based on origin and not the quality of song. As such songs which should've done terrible actually came in the top 10 because of where they come from.
So all Ireland is doing is just meeting the standard of this farce of a competition. I see you're from Serbia, maybe you should be looking to your own country to vote properly and not lecturing Western countries on the quality of their song, when it is countries like yours which have made the competition into the joke it is now.
Seriously, Ireland did it all arseways when it comes to selection of their entry. Fankly, I have nothing against humour and joke entries, such as Verka. But you cannot compare Verka to Dustin, and the reason is simple: Dustin is a doll, for Christ's sake! I am utterly disgusted by this song, and I still find it hard to believe that the Irish actually chose this?! Damn it, Father Ted and Dougal with "My lovely horse" would be a better choice!
It's such a shame for a country with great ESC tradition. And not only tradition, but deadly performers as well.
Sorry, Ireland, but you've made a bloody brutal choice this year.
@Richard mole 7time winners
"FYR Macedonia, Belarus, Azerbaijan... these are meant to be serious but are just plain awful."
And they'll probably all qualify....:-(
@ Richard Mole
What a nasty old queen you are..... you are a vile person
It's not bad after all.
A lot better from Estonia and Azerbaijan.
I actually will download it for the collection, and because I think the song is listenable at least - as opposed to quite a few others this year.
As for Verka, it's not her problem that she had a sharp entry which nearly won and whose properties are now being emulated into current entries, in vain hope that, applying bits and pieces of the recipe, they'll do well too. They won't. To illustrate this, in every group of people there are those who tell funny jokes with ease, reaping laughs, and those who try but fail miserably.
Honestly, if you are worried about joke songs look squarely at entries from FYR Macedonia, Belarus, Azerbaijan... these are meant to be serious but are just plain awful. Ireland's entry has wit to it
@ zingo star
I don't think I ever agreed with you on this website until now
Dustin is for me easily the best act at Eurovision this year and I cannot wait to see his performance rather than sitting through a ton of ballads. Go on ye gud thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !
love dustin......
PERSON WHO WANTS TO DOWNLOAD THIS IS NOT NORMAL...JUST AS SONG
The last "nice" song to win was Helena Paparizou, in 2005. Finland's win was a joke, while the winner last year, was like something you'd expect to hear at a funeral.
I accept it was well written, and a good ballad, but it sounded terrible.
I still can not understand that one will support with the funny song his country.... think it's just funny ... there are so many singers a wonderful effort to have song, and what do the others? .. . that's really funny ... It looks that some of the Eurovision Song Contest see it a game..You have to give effort (if you want to win) if we make fun ok will be a great embarrassment for himself song to. You have to think already know that one billion and many are watch it ... I hope a NICE song will win....
Well at least Verka's song was popular in the charts after ESC - Everyone will forget sad, old Ireland straight after Eurovision and hopefully they'll realise that they dont need to compete in Eurovision again and withdraw.
"Ireland should be ashamed for not sending Leona to the ESC - she would have done well too "
Or how about Marc Roberts, runner-up before, when the contest had serious artists performing.
If we sent Daly to Eurovision, it would have been dismissed as a "bore". And they'd be right.
After the 2004 event, one ESC reviewer wrote on this site, that Ireland's song was sending him to sleep, and that he "should buy a decent suit". Later another reviewer said, that Ireland will "have to send something 21st century" in order to win. Well, this is our response. It's a joke, but the whole contest today is a joke. The fault here lies with the EBU, not RTE.
A big joke, that cant be taken seriously.
It would be really nice if people would try not to be quite so disrespectful towards the legend that is Dustin the Turkey. Criticise his song if you really must but referring to him simply as “the puppet” is very unpleasant. Look at how Dustin is respectful enough not to refer to other contestants merely as “animated human flesh”.
Dustin, forgive those who malign your good name, they know not what they say
