15th jury confirms votes

OGAE Slovenia: 12 points to Switzerland

At their annual weekend party in the coastal town of Ankaran last weekend, OGAE Slovenia voted for Switzerland to win this year's Eurovision Song Contest. They are the 15th OGAE club to declare thir votes this year.

Star guests at the party were last year's Slovenian entrant in Helsinki, Alenka Gotar, Second Chance entrant Brigita Šuler and Rebeka Dremelj, who will represent the country this year. Rebeka chatted with the fans, sang her entry, which all the fans requested she sing in Slovenian in Belgrade. Other activities were karaoke, a Eurovision quiz and dancing into the early hours.

The votes from OGAE Slovenia:

  • Switzerland 12 points
  • Serbia 10 points
  • Sweden 8 points
  • Romania 7 points
  • Albania 6 points
  • Germany 5 points
  • Armenia 4 points
  • Belgium 3 points
  • Iceland 2 points
  • Bulgaria 1 point

Just missing out:

  • Hungary
  • Ukraine
  • Israel
  • Russia
  • Turkey

Switzerland's first 12 points ofthe year move them back up to fourth place after Ukraine failed to take any points this time around. Serbia's 10 points sees the host nation continue to rise up the scoreboard. They have snatched second place from Armenia.

I agree that the Dutch song is underrated here, I'd say the same for the Maltese entry too. I also think the Serbian entry is overrated.

But I guess this is Eurovision fans voting, and on the night most of the people voting are hearing many of the songs for the first time!

The Dutch song is extremely underrated by the OGAE clubs

The UK's song isn't paricularly amazing, but it's better than a good load of songs that currently have points. People don't want to vote for the UK, and because we're not entering our superstars they have their excuse!

Anyway, I like the Swiss song.

Poloand and UK has BORING songs.... not surprised that none of them have scored any points... UK will probably get another nil points this year.... but Poland will surely get some points in the actual final because the visual performance will probably be very nice.

Can't believe still NOTHING for Poland or UK!
