Armenia: Siarhey Mandrik to work with Sirusho
The Armenian national broadcaster has announced that Sirusho will be accompanied by two Backing singer; Tigran Petrosyan, who was a backing singer for Hayko in last years Eurovision Song Contest in Helsinki, and well known armenian singer, Razmik Amyan.
Sirusho will embark on her western promotion tour which includes: Germany, Belgium, Greece, The Netherlands, Spain, France and the United Kingdom, where she will attend and perform at the esctoday.com, UK Eurovision Preview Party on the 25th April, as previously reported by esctoday.com.
Sirusho will be the 3rd representative of Armenia in the Eurovision Song Contest, with her song Qele Qele Armenia will perform 14th in the first Semi Final on 20th May.

Since Armenians are being constantly killed in Russia and Russian governement couldn't care less ( along with our own) it is up to us, people, and especially YOUTH to protest, to stand up to Russia, to DEMAND tackle that problem! And "inviting" their dancers, choreographs doens't really help.

Ia m not allergic to anything "foreign". I am allergic for my country being Russia's puppet in EVERY SINGLE aspect, shoul it be pilitics, economic, cultural life...anything! Well, I`m not agents the Russian just because he`s russian, I just would`ve loved 2 c Mihrans work and he and sirusho have worked 2gether b4, so I thought it would`ve made it easier 2 work again and yeah, I just love his work and plus if he also brought rest of the Madonna`s dancers Armenia would`ve also get votes from Madonna fans 2
and about the Russian thing, I think u`re right if Russia goes who`ll take over? USA, China ect... but I still think that Armenia should have more backbone and not let russians interfere with every aspect of the country
by the way, it's not Sirusho decides but Diana Mnatsakanian. She's responsable for all Eurovision choice and programs in Armenia.

You are over-reacting, or over-excited about this Russian choreopgrapher thing. Sirusho's composer is DerHova, Canadian guy. What's wrong with you people in the West? What do you think if Russia steps out, who will replace it? US, UK, China?
We're a small country with no market and most of Armenians are making their career abroad. I know one thing. If you're too alergic about foreigners representing Armenia, you should quit leaving in a foreign country and be there for what you heart stands the rest is just useless blabla
BTW, I'm surprised that Sirusho didn't take Mihran, not because he is Armenian, but because he is a very good dancer.

It's very easy to say things when you are sitting in front of your computer in the UK. Let me tell you, there are no choreographers in Armenia. And maybe very few good, professional dancers. I don't see anything wrong with a Russian guy taking over our choreography. If you want to see Armenian choreography and Armenian girls dancing, watch the video of Sirusho during the Armenian national final. The girls are just randomly running around. You mean we don't have female dancers who could have done those simple dances on the stage? lol I am sure we have. I'd rather see our youth boycott bringing over anyone from other countries which will eventually make our Government develop our country ( cultural life included) rather than every year rely on who will offer Russia this time. Armenians build and create all over the woeld but when it comes to Homeland we beg Russia?
Isn't ESC about representing our culture? What was the point of Andre being surrounded with Russian girls? How did they represent Armenia to those who had never known our country?

Heaven forbid for Armenian Governement turn down Russia's offer! Who on earth Mihran is? Just an Armenian from " some "US who works with "some" Madonna...Who are they after all? But here we have "saviour" Russia who owns Armenia.I wonder how long will it take for our governement rename usi nto Russia's province. Armenian wrote the lyrics for Russian ESC singers as well but he is form Russia! it is not about nationality, it is about us allowing Russia take over our country in every single aspect. Our Governement is happy because they make money on it.What do we get? Ani Lorak's (Ukraine) songwriters one is Armenian the one is Bulgarian should ukranian complain as you do?
By the way, we have a choreographer who worked with Madonna during her last World Tour. His name is Mihran Kirakosian. He was supposed to work Sirusho's choreography but there were last minute changes. It's useless to be so negative!

Well, Mihran is Armenian and he offered 2 help, do the choreography and even bring rest of the Madonna`s dancers but they turned him down (and he is armenian, I believe that he knows more about armenian music and dance and could`ve done gr8 job 4 Sirusho and Qele Qele) and went with this Russian guy... Yeah, Soviet times ended but Armenia is still Russia`s cute little puppy
Now im sure the show will be done by real professionals.Razmik and Tigran have great voices and theyre popular in Armenia,I hope Sergey Mandrik will do a great job for Sirusho!

Don't we have anyone withing our country to work with Sirusho or they are not good enough for them?
