Germany: No Angels preparing stage performance
The rehearsals are underway in Munich and will go on until the group has to leave for Belgrade, especially as they "feel some pressure having been drawn very early in the running order". Singer Lucy Diakovska revealed details concerning the outfits they are going to wear on stage: "In innocent white, transparent and glittering we also want to win over the audience with our outfits". She also adds that every single step of the performance is planned particularly.
Traditionally, the performances of the German entries in the Eurovision Song Contest and the outifts are identical or almost identical to the ones in the national final and therefore, major changes in the stage performance are indeed a surprise. It has not been revealed if the wind machines from the national final will be included again.
As a 'big four' country, Germany is directly qualified for the final of the Eurovision Song Contest on 24th May, where the No Angels will perform their song Disappear at number four. In 2007, the country finished 19th with Frauen regieren die Welt performed by Roger Cicero.

I liked it at first, but it bored me so quickly!!! Too much 'Spice Girls' to my taste.
Now I think Cinema Bizarre was a better option.

I'm sorry, but if we didn't manage to score halfway well with Texas Lightning and Roger Cicero who gave incredibly professional performances on relatively good positions, then I can't see how we should do better with the No Angels on 4th place...
Well it's not Ein Lied Kann Eine Bruecke Sein is it' It's not Ein Bisschen Frieden or Wunder Gibt Es Immer Wieder. It's not Ruecksicht or even Ein Lied Fuer Einen Freund. It's not even Wir Geben A Party. Struth - it's not even Zeit or Wadde Hadde Dudde da. It's not even Let's Be Happy. In fact, it's not even Gracia. And you know what that means. Oh dear.

Disappear forever! Well you said it honey chile.
They sang "Disappear" in a relative big German TV show (Chart Show) Friday evening. There is a repeat of the show Saturday afternoon. Have anyone else watched it? They sang the song in a different style. It was much slower. What version do you like more, the one of the national final or the one of the Chart Show?

Go No Angels! You can do better than in the national final. Change the middle part of the song...and do a calm and convincing performance.

This is a good solid entry one of the best this year, this is a dark horse a great song but no one expects too much from it.
I watched the German final and got a little worried about No Angel´s vocals... the red hair lady really needs some couching.
like them too...but they might stay at bottom 4 along with France,UK again....(i am more hopeful with Chiki chiki crap song) LOL
This is one of the best songs in the contest. FAR more sophisticated than all the poptrash and overdramatic ballads. Really great, catchy song.
I am kind of "on the fence" with this song.
I like it cos its simple, catchy and lyrically very good. However the song just plods along and isn't that exciting. However I think it is one of the "quality" entries this year and I would like to see Germany in the top 10 (mainly cos they sent great songs in 2006 and 2007), however I fear they won't reach the top 10, especially with such a bad draw position.
But hey, Good luck to Germany from the UK

On Germany: I love it! and I've already heard it on of the biggest commercial radio stations here.
i luv them.... well cinema bizarre wouldve been better, but this is still in my top ten.... good luck germany, cant wait to go crazy in berlin in july
Everything about this entry is horrible: song AND performance.
I suggest they concentrate less on their outfits and more on their singing. Although not even 1000 singing lessons each could save them from disaster.

I agree they have terrible draw, and it's true it's one of the BEST entries this year...
I wish the all the best, I won't be there to see them as well as Jelana Tomasevic because I have tickets for semifinals only
They're absolutely great, and Disappear is my 2nd favourite song this year.
I'll defenietly vote for Germany in ESC 2008 Final.
