"I want to meet Bucks Fizz"
Dustin The Turkey heads to London
Although Dustin won't be performing at the party, he will be attending to meet Bucks Fizz, who he says are Eurovision royalty! He will be one of the VIP guests at the event is looking forward to meeting his fellow competitors before they get together in Belgrade.
Dustin is pleased to be coming to the party and is looking forward to meeting the British fans in London. He will be joined by Bulgarian participants and Andy Abraham from the United Kingdom at the event, who will be there to meet the fans, although they will not be performing the song due to the event hitting the maximum number of artists able to perform on stage. Organisers have confirmed that two other acts will participate but have not yet been announced. One is from the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest, another is a former participant.

Tickets for the UK Eurovision Preview Party presented by esctoday.com are now onsale via the official website, through the Scala website, from the Scala box office or directly from www.ticketweb.co.uk. Tickets can also be bought from Ticketweb by phone on +44 8700 600 100. Tickets are currently priced at £10 in advance, any remaining tickets will be charged at £15 on the door. Confirmed artists so far are:

- Isis Gee, Poland 2008
- Morena, Malta 2008

ok i think it about time to put a lid on the dustin is a turkey - can't wait for christmas jokes for jeez sake. turkey is available all year round for one and secondly he has been in irish popular culture 18 years, almost as long as i've been alive. that is a lot of christmases he has survived and i think he'll be around for a lot more ok?

I love this song - it is definately the best song in Eurovision this year. To be honest, I think it's the best Euro song since Germany 2000 (Wadde Hadde)

Well if nothing else the Irish entry is getting plenty of attention. We came last in 2007 with a 'serious' entry - what;s the worst that can happen this year, we come last and have some fun along the way. Lighten up!
Another former participant? Hmmm - Katrina? That would make sense.....
Though, I think that Gina G would be pretty damn special too.
What about Dustin having a chaperon? Johnny Logan or Dana could look after him during his visit. Oh hang on, Dana would probably sabotage him!
How wonderful! I'm vegetarian but for the one night I might be tempted to eat turkey.

Maybe the un-announced former participant is Katrina Leskanich (Katrina and the waves) ?????? She would be quite good, or Elena paparizou would be AMAZING, but I doubt it will be elena.
(Elena paparizou is my favourite ever artist ever in the whole world, her album "The Game Of Love" is the best album I have ever bought! )
