Armenia: Sirusho composes a song for Vlad and Nico
On 29th April, Sirusho was a guest at the Le Garden Club in Paris which was preceded by a press conference where the young Armenian singer spoke to the French press and media. When asked which acts she considers to be her biggest rivals in the contest, Sirusho said: " Eurovision is not a competion for me! It's rather a musical festivity where different genres and musical cultures come together. We are all different. There are entries I like and some entries I dislike. But that's a matter of taste. In any case, this is a very enriching musical experience for me."
What were her impressions from the UK Eurovision Preview party? Sirusho was very impressed by the Romanian duo, Nico and Vlad Mirita. She revealed that on the night she composed a song especially for them, which she will present to them as soon as the arrangement is finalised. Is competing against a puppet a problem for her? "Using a puppet to sing doesn't really matter for me. It's a personal choice. Each contestant has his/her way of expression. And I respect it." Puppet and singer met in London, as guests of esctoday.com at La Scala and Dustin told Sirusho he would be happy if she won and that he would keep his fingers crossed for her.
Apart from a very successful musician and singer, Sirusho is also a student at the Yerevan University's Foreign Affaires and Diplomacy school. Is there any chance she might drop singing to pursue a diplomatic career? " I will never quit singing" she says "I have already achieved the ultimate honour to be the song ambassador of Armenia at Eurovision. It is an international gathering and somehow each participant becomes an ambassadors but in a more romantic way through singing and dancing! The best way to bring peace on earth."
Today, Sirusho continues her promotour in Berlin and then will go to the her last stop which will be Prague.

the videolinks from Galandar are excellent. i really enjoyed watching them. as to some positive relations between armenia and Azerbaijan - the worst joke ever read here.
You must admit that this year Armenia will be a very serious rival to MANY contestants. Call it Jesc or whaterver comdey but it rules many polls and betting odds and im sure it has made a GREAT interest towards it! So u like the lyrics or not doesnt really matter.Just lets wait for ESC and see what happens okay?
Armenia has really LOTS of chanves to win ESC 2008. I hope Sirusho wont miss them,to have a great show and sexy looking which she has.im calm for back vocals coz 2 singers are really great in their job!

Please dear, have fun, remmember, life is what you put in not what you put on, good or bad you do it to yourself my love.
My comments of irony and cheerfull manner must not be challenged or attacked as it is not matter of life or death. I must say my true opinion and not just fake, juisy words just to be nice to be inaccurate, hypocrite and unreliable.
Anyway, Armenian entry has interesting sound, music but lyrics, to be honest, my 10 years old nephew writes better lyrics than those in qele qele qele... However, good luck to lovely contestant of Armenia.

Ok, here you are! Turkey will win! It's a winner! You are the best! Go Turkey! We love Turkey! Turkish fans are the best amont other ESC fans. You are the most friendly people that I've ever seen Are you happy now! If not, I hope you have good hospitals in your neighbourhood! And I hope they accept people with pathologies like yours!
Lol, Armenia win??.. Oh my word. How can one expect Armenia to win ESC with the song of Junior eurovision standard, as I said before, its just few simple lines repeated plus the irritating qele qele qele, I bet 10 years old kids can wite better lyrics than the so simple lyrics of Armenian's cheap qele qele qele.... Lol.

People are different and don't generalize. I really wish good luck to Armenia and i have nothing against it at least on ESC.
And as for the Turkish guy, "Furkan Cinar", you should check out some of his other eurovision covers, I saw some the other day, and they were hilarious!! but fair play to him for trying
