"No conflict of interest"
Serbia: Zeljko and Jelena in Athens
Jelena Tomasevic, Zeljko Joksimovic and Katerina Nitsopoulou, of the Greek band Anemos, lyricist of Oro in Greek, spoke to the press about the song, the preparations for Belgrade and sang an acoustic version of Ela agapi with Zeljko playing the piano. Jelena spoke about the special relationship and understanding between the Greek and Serbian people and thanked the media for their support. Then it was Katerina's turn to speak about her cooperation with Jelena and Zejko "I am honoured to be working with them", she said " as I believe they bring that touch of quality that is missing from the Eurovision Song Contest"..
Zeljko had just arrived from Corfu, where he gave a Spring Break concert last night to a 2.000 audience. He began by addressing the audience in perfect Greek " I am sugar tired", he confessed "happy because I had a great concert and tired as I have so many obligations these days with preparations for Eurovision where I am a host". When asked to reveal a tiny part of the Eurovision host script he is studying Zeljiko was happy to oblige: "Good evening Europe!" he laughed, "where have you been all this time?" receiving an enthusiastic applause by the audience present.
When Zeljko was asked about his opinion about bloc and diaspora voting, he said: " The most important thing is the song, it has to be very expressive and good, good marketing before the contest and..... diaspora!"
It was inevitable that the discussion would come around to Zeljko's double role as host and composer of Oro in this year's contest and it was actually himself that brought it up: "I do not think there is a conflict of interest with me being both host and composer at the same time. We have a good song and I think we have a chance, although this year it is very, very difficult everything is possible!" he concluded.
During the press conference, the new project Balkan Routes, where Zeljko and Jelena participate with a new song, was introduced to the Greek media. For more information on the Balkan project click here.
Last night, Jelena Tomasevic was a guest of OGAE Greece, she met with Greek representative Kalomira and gave interviews to major Greek TV channels as well as esctoday. Stay tuned for Jelena's interview and gallery from the party later on in the day.

My personal favorite of Edin's comments was when he said that "Serbian prince Aleksandar Karadjordjevic supported Milosevic and Mladic"
- A Night of Musical Comedy
You're such a tard, and i'm sure alot of people will agree with me on that, shame that you just can't admit to it!!!!
lol
Edin do not try to cover your s h i t!!!! We all know that you always trying to involve Milosevic,Mladic,Karadzic in all subjects here on this site!!! Your comments are nationalistic and you are trying to present Serbia in bad way!!! Last year u hated our song and Marija Serifovic and told so many bad thing about her and when she won u did't want to recognize her victory and u connected that with politics and other stupid stuff. This year same story!!! Jelena is bad ,her song is stupid .... Zeljko Joksimovic cannot be host cause he is composer ... Serbia is not safe for hosting ESC ..... Shut up!!!!!!! Man I think you should turn off your account and leave this site forever!!!! If you do not want that, me and a lot of people from here will sign petition for your release!!!!
I am from Serbia, and last year I was convinced that Marija will win, and that happened. Unfortunately, I dont think like that this year, but Im quite sure that Serbia will reach top 5 or 6.
You should point something EXACTLY what you find inappropriate and which was written by me and then ask moderators to react.
Otherwise, you seem to look for removing my account just because you can't tolerate my opinion (you don't wanna read the things you don't like) and just because of my name.
If moderators removed me for that, it would send a very bad message from this website: Freedom of speech defeated by nationalism of some people here. Hopefully, that will not happen.
Edin is one of the most popular members even though he wrote stupid comments and try to represent Serbia in a bad way. Edin, please remove the photo of the old bridge in Mostar as Mostar is my home town and I don't want any association with your retarded comments.

don't worry, that moderator is greek person who never deleted nasty greek reaction and encouraged those greek attackers aganist innocent people of other nations in past forums, as many have seen. Sad isn't it, its like 12 points to greece and cyprus as always.
LOLLLLLL @ dule m
"i dont know why Edin is still part of this site? Is he fucking the editor? "
i almost wet myself.
Zeljko with his bloon, good luck.
About time that a pan-Balkan project is launched- I look forward to getting my copy of the Balkan Routes. From Carinthia to Anatolia the Balkans seem to share many similar traits of culture. It's too bad that the western concept of nation-State divisions in the 19th. and 20th. centuries had caused so much suffering. What does it really matter now, when all the Balkans will eventually be in the EU and nation-State independence is slowly erased. Time to return to the shared values of 150 years ago.

Absolutely! Last year Romanian entry and this year Irish entry share the same word and few notes. Now, I can declare they are the same. Hahaha, some people never stop to amaze me!
Are you crazy or what ???
What comments of mine do not belong here ???
That moderator should be the biggest fool in the world to accept your claim. I completely stick to the topic and unlike some other people do not insult anyone.
hey everyone,
I just sent another message to the moderators of the site to throw Edin out. If you want to express the same concern over his inappropriate comments I urge you to do the same. People like this don't belong here.
PEOPLE PLEASE DO NOT PAY ATTENTION ON EDIN!!!! HE IS MISERABLE!!!
I did compare "Oro" to "Alvedansen". What's the problem ???
That's my impression. An atmosphere, the theme of the song/ song-title, ethno flavour in both songs, similar refrains ("Nuna-ney", "Ay-ay"
, female singers. You have a right to say that you don't find any similarities but you should respect other people's opinion posted here.
I find the the fact that lot of people in this forum compare "Oro" with "Rijeka bez imena" absolutely amazing. Lot of people compared the latter with "Jutro", too. I find that hilarious. That would lead to the conclusion that "Jutro" and "Oro" are similar. I could expect such conclusion from accidental observer of Eurovision song contest, but definitely not from ESC fan. Well, the only similarity I can see is that both songs are perfomed by the same person.
But what I find a complete lack of any sense for music is comparison of "Oro" with "Alvedansen" - Norwegian ESC 2006 entry.
Get real folks, try to engage some of the brain cells of yours while you are writing your comments here!
Night Elf
"hahaha"
Jelena sings amazing... I am glad she went to Greece.
Edin
Jelena is not retarded, you are... well for that that is proved
hahaha
I think Flamingos would do great with Crazy summer dance in ESC!!!
I think they would either get 12 or 0 points
Shame that Montenegrians prevented them from going on ESC
