DanyT,
It's not from history books rather from Hollywood movies, though I'm sure you'll find the authors who won't say the contrary. Each wave of immigration in the US had problems with acceptance.
Well, that's not my point. I said nothing bad about Irish. In the contrary, I was saying that haters are hated in their turn.
There are plenty of Irish immigrants in UK and France; why they don't vote for Ireland?
And Ireland gets the................ GOLDEN TURKEY! Like the song representing. Guys! Please! Save yourselves. Withdraw now. Imagine that people might take you up and you could win. hen you will have to carry the TURKEY for the years to come.
@ Rita
Nice comment there that the existing Americans hated the Irish immigrants cos they loved to get hammered. What history book is that in?
I promise you not all Irish people love their booze (not me though!)
The immigration votes in Eurovision could easily stop skewing the results if it was one vote per line, but that probably won't happen. Until then, sean kehoe is right when he says that the Baltic states will be getting Ireland's points, however he is wrong when they say that their workers here are lazy. They work harder than most Irish people in my work!
sweden to win!!!
lol ireland doesn't like their own entry
loooooooooool
Also no pts for UK? Shame Shame!
@sean kehoe
there were millions of irish immigrants in the US
and lots of other immigrants who arrived before hated them because they were poor and loving alcool
if you don't like immigrants, why on earth you come to Eurovision, make your own local Irovision!!! At least you won't have voting dilema! This way, you are sure that Ireland will always win
@ Peter hahahaha
OMG I forgot about those previous rants..... Oh dear you know I honestly hope you can see that I deliberatly post provocative messages on here out of mischievinesss and for a giggle whe i read reactions!!
- Peter H186
LOL, maybe we should just leave him to his angry rants then!!
Good luck to Ireland this year!
Jonny K,
It's not just people from Poland, Latvia and Lithuania (who are miserable, work 90 hours a week but contribute nothing to society) that he doesn't like. He hates Dublin people too, whom he blames for voting for Dustin and, among other things, exploiting the working classes! And he's not too keen on British people either. Apparently, their big crime is that they "love to stereotype every other race".
- sean kehoe
Well, we'll have to agree to disagree!
I think alot before I make statments... I stand by all I say
- sean kehoe
You'd be surprised actually, immigrants do alot to keep the UK economy booming. They help ease the growing pensions crisis, and keep unemployment alot lower than it would be without them. Its very easy to criticise them but they actually do alot for the ecomony
Another well reasoned and insightful contribution from Mstr Kehoe!
Lets not get to excited ...ogae ireland had only 40 people there!! hardly a representative sample of how ireland is going to vote. We all know who our top points are going to go to.... Lithuania, Latvia and Poland cos without sounding racist etc...there are thousands upon thousands of them in Ireland and they will all vote for thier songs.... they so miserable... they work 90 hours a week, buy all their food in Lidls, 10 of them living in accomodation designed for 4, contribute nothing to our society or way of life.... Sorry but i dont like them
- Rita Belindarian
I agree, I think Sweden will struggle, despite the fact that its a really good song
But I think Armenia will reach top 5, who knows, you may even win!!!
malta 21..are the juries deaf or what?
These points (unfortunately!) bear no relation to our points awarded on the night - as sure as eggs is eggs there will be max points for Lithuania and high points for Latvia and Poland. I dare say there will also be some points for our near neighbours!
These countries will be in top 5, in no random: Sweden, Russia, Serbia, Armenia and Ireland. I only like Armenia´s and Sweden´s songs. The other are bad I think.
Please vote and help me predict winner...

@Jonny K,
Thank you! Unlike many, I don't think Sweden will make Top 5. Ukraine, Russia, Serbia, Greece, Turkey, Armenia and Ireland will struggle for Top 5 this year. Sweden, Iceland must probably will make to top 10. I wish Israel would make it too
Look at the video of Pirates of the Sea!Latvia!there are also parts of their promo tour in Sweden!
VOTE FOR LATVIA!PIRATES OF THE SEA!HI HI HO!

I didn't say Ireland last came tenth in Dublin. I said Ireland last did well in Dublin. There is a very big difference between doing well and coming tenth.
[u][b]I want one poll : DO YOU THINK OGAE VOTES ARE TRUE AND THE COUNTRIES WILL VOTE THAT WAY!
- Peter H186
No, Ireland got a top 10 in Athens with Brian Kennedy
- Winter Wonderland
Cool!
- Rita Belindarian
Yeah, the song is really growing on me, I hope Armenia gets a top 10 this year!
Good luck
Where is Lithuania ???
its a good top 3, but i think entries from San Marino, Greece, Cyprus and Israel should be doing better. I'd expect the results on the night will be very different, what with politics and gimick entries doing well
what is it 3 weeks today? can't wait
