Sun, rain and (Euro)stars
Packing for Belgrade? Here is your May forecast!
According to the Republic Hydrometeorological Service of Serbia, the weather conditions will be changing all the time during the next 30 days. Sun and rain, the temperature will be going down and up. They predict that the lowest temperature will be on May 17th, min. 7, and max. 17 degrees. The warmest day will be May 12th with min. temperature 13 degrees, and the max. temperature 24 degrees. Also, the forecast says that we can expect rain on the next dates: May 9th, 10th, 14th, 15th, 19th, 21st, 22nd, 24th and 25th and windy weather on: May 14th and 24th.
But, since it is May, it is the most likely that raining periods will be short, and sunny and shiny ones will be dominant, we recommend you to bring sunglasses and summer clothes with just one or two light jackets for nights and do not care about the rain too much, cause there is an expression Serbian people say during the rain: "You are not sugar to melt in the rain." :)
For you who intend to walk by the rivers, we recommend to choose the right shoes for it, since the river banks in Belgrade are kilometers long.
This May you may need cream with UV protection, since UV forecast for May says UV factor range will be from 3 to 7.
Finally, if you forget something, you can always buy it in Belgrade. There are several big shopping malls and hundreds of small shops. Prices may vary. You can find the same thing at very different prices in two different shops. Anyhow, one thing you do not forget – your smile!

Can someone tell me please where can I watch the second semi final?
I know about a brodecast on the eurovision.tv, but as usual pobably this year too there will be full of viewers and everything will exist very slow...
What kind of computer programs I need to watch it corectly?
Will there be a brodecast on the RUssian PLaneta?
Where Can I find a full list of broadcasters?
I'M from POland and my national channel is not interested in brodecasting.... BUT 8 MILION of viewers are!
CAn somedoby help me?
PLEASE
Also if at 24 degrees in May the skies in BG are clear and it's sunny, the Northerners will need a suncream or something as the UV factor will be high.
The riverbanks are long, yes. And paved, but beware of cyclists and those horrible people on rollerblades or whatever they're called who jump at you from nowhere.
24 degrees in BG always feels warmer than 24 in London, cause it's noticeably less humid, and there's usually no wind this time of year. A lot more pleasant.

Hahahahahah Krisse was a legend!!! Do you remember Terry Wogan's comments when she came on, bloody hilarious, he said "can't we just watch the adverts instead!". Krisse forever!
The riverbanks in Belgrade are kilometers long? Yes and some of them go all the way to the Black Sea but I am not going all the way there in my stilettoes. Sounds a bit miserable if the warmest day is 24 degrees. it's warmer than that in London now :-(
Well we can expect a huge amount of wind on any day that Sweden is performing.
I can't hold my excitement in any longer!
I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!
Belgrade 2008 will be a perfect show, I can just tell. (And no annoying Krisse Salminen!!!!!)
"Eihän meitä sokerista ole tehty" (we´re not made of sugar), that´s how we say in Finnish. In Portuguese it is " não ser feito de aÇúcar". It seems to be a worldwide wellknown saying.
I'm annoyed cos I have a test on the day of the first semi-final and two in the week after the final. There is a lot of cramming I have to do cos there ain't no way I'm studying during any shows!!
@Jesse Kuiper
Funny! We have a similar saying "Shakar ches, ches hali" (You're not sugar, you won't melt!)
Host of ESC2008 Jovana Jankovic predicted Serbian victory in ESC2007 when she was announcing Serbian votes in ESC 2006 in Athens!! go on this link to watch that - url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-dQBZE8l_08]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-dQBZE8l_08/url] and welcome to SERBIA, welcome to beutiful Belgrade!!!
