Mikko to announce Finnish votes!
Finland: Mikko and Jaana back in Eurovision!
Mikko and Jaana did an extradionary job last year by hosting the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest in Helsinki. Viewers all over Europe were dazzled with their humour, hospitality and charm.
Mikko will be announcing the Finnish votes from last year's Eurovision host city Helsinki during the Eurovision final on May 24th. Jaana Pelkonen will be joining forces with Mikko Peltola (host of the 2008 Finnish national final), in Belgrade in order to give the Finnish viewers the latest news and developments during the Eurovision weeks, updating them with daily reports. Jaana will be also one of the commentators for YLE covering the Eurovision Song Contest semi finals and final. This will be the 3rd time she will be acting as a commentator for Finland at the Eurovision Song Contest.

what yu people didnt get to see is the sand up comedy that Mikko gave us last year ion the dres rehearsals, when the video recap wasn't ready for the slot (it is ilmed in the rehearsal itself ofcooarse). He was brilliant. He was talking with fans, making jokes, and warning a fan from luxemourgh that he is not allowed to be there because his country withdrew je je je

I loved them... Jaana was excellent but Mikko was even more excellent..and better way than Sakis in Greece.
Nice to see a lot of good comments on the Finnish hosts. I think they did a great job aswell but since I´m Finnish myself I may have a difficult time to be objective... 
2003 & 2007 hosts both are the best.

The 2007 hosts were a great improvement on recent years - the Turkish duo were dreadful, as was the Ukrainian woman. Maria from Greece seemed fairly clueless and obviously had little idea of what was going on. Loved the 2002 and 2003 hosts though! As for 2008? Let's hope Jelena has taken a few language lessons . . .
Oh yeah those annoying tooth fairy hosts... they annoyed the hell out of me too.

It's great for them to back.
But I would of preffered for Jaana to announce the Finnish televoting results. Two reasons - I love her sexy voice and how stunning she looks.
Well I think the award for the most cringeworthy presenters goes to the 2001 presenters! Does anybody remember that they presented the entire show in rhyming couplets!
And then Terry Wogan had to apologize to DR because he called the presenters Dr. Death and the Tooth Fairy!

I remember the Estonian woman too. Her English wasn't that great god love her so I think she decided to shout so we focus on something else. I really liked Marie N and Renars Kaupers in Latvia and the two in Sweden, but I think we need to get the contest back to the UK because Ulrika and Terry Wogan had the good old British sense of humour that cracked me up, even though she is Swedish and he is an Irishman!

OK, her voice was something else!!!! Did she ever speak quietly!??
As for annoying voices: Who remembers that Estonian operastar? She made my ears bleed with that high voice. Very funny.

LMAO, The Istanbul presenters were legends!!!!!!! They were so clueless it was just hilarious!
I thought Sakis and Maria did an alright job, especially when compared to your woman with the hypersonic voice the year before or even the pair in Istanbul - did that old guy have a clue where he was?
I was very impressed with Jaana and Mikko though cos they just seemed to be in control of what was going on and didn't have annoying voices!

What??? Maria was great!! She wasn't fake, she was fantastic!! And her laugh was CRAZY!!! And I loved the way she said "amazing" in every single sentence!!! 
Funny, P. Eriksson, you only remember the worst, fakest presenter ever. We don't need American wannabe stars in Eurovision. I wonder if she knew what show it was she presented, because she didn't seem to have a clue.
Excellent news, Mikko was just fantastic. Funny and charming guy, in, of course, a cheesy way. Jaana was also a really lovely and very professional host. Very talented too, being able to speak so many languages as well as she does. I'll miss these two, I wouldn't mind if Terasbetoni won again if they hosted 2009.
The only really good ESC-host I remember is Maria(Athens06)!
They were fab...
..but then anything beats bloody Sakis and Maria!
