Aftonbladet recently made a video comparing "Era Stupendo" with "It Can Only Get Better", and the similarity is striking. Could it really be a coincidence?

@ Fabio Deluca
Your summation of Cool Vibes is just plain wrong. How was it a desperate attempt to get votes? - I guess that is how a quality song is perceived nowadays. A great song, well performed at Eurovision, I guess that is a bit of a novelty.

Also, Celine Dion's song was awful, if it weren't for her singing voice it would be such a plain, boring song. No wonder she is ashamed of being at Eurovision. I agree with Jonny K that the French ballads of the early 00s are better by far

Johanna Star:

This matter has been discussed for months. You can watch the interview with Amy here on esctoday where Barry asks her opinion on the similarities between the two songs.

Paolo has one of the best songs this year!
It doesn't matter that he knows very little English...at least he didn't sing in a language that he doesn't know to get attention!I like the Italian language!

OMG!
I just compared Amy Diamonds song with this years swiss song.
It is 100% stolen!

Wonder why this thing hasnt been more discussed.

@P. Eriksson Had it really been plagiarism, Amy would have certainly taken legal action. As she hasn't, I suppose that her lawyers checked and found that there was no legal basis for a plagiarism claim. The two songs are very like one another, but if this is plagiarism, then each and every song in the world is copying some other one, in my opinion.

'Cool Vibes' sucked, in my opinion. It did not represent Switzerland in any way. Having 4 official languages there, I can't consider an entry in English as their best. Besides that, it was a cold rock number, quite ordinary.

They thought it would be cool and fresh, but it was a desperate attemp to get some votes.

Wahooooo, another cool vobes fan!!!! And I agree about Celine Dion, she was great. But i'm not really a massive fan of her song, it was alright, but nothing special. I actually think the French ballads of 2001 and 2002 were better than Celine's of 1988 :)

Even though Paolo's performance today wasn't flawless I think it's one of the best entries. I will probably vote for him on the 22nd.

"Cool vibes" is without a doubt the best Swiss entry ever. Céline Dion has a great voice but I never liked "Ne partez pas sans moi".

One of the best songs this year - unfortunately, even if it makes it to the final I will be surprised to see it top 10. Unless of course persons east of the Matterhorn vote for a song rather than a flag - yeh right!

Very nice song. The rehearsal went well but there's always room for improvement. Well Done Switzerland for the quality.
