Malta: Morena talks to esctoday.com
24 year old Morena won Malta Song For Europe with the song Vodka and got the golden ticket to represent her country in the Eurovision Song Contest this year in Belgrade. This is the fifth participations for the authors of the song, Gerard James Borg (lyrics) and Philip Vella (composer) in the contest but it's the first time that they use a Russian word (nastarovje, which means Cheers!) to start their song. She will perform her song in the second semi-final on 22nd May
Morena talks in the interview about her victory in the National selection, the promo tour,her future plans and about Vodka. At the end of the interview instead of drinking it she is singing it!

Duh - whats new from Greeks! 99.9 percent of Greeks don't like VODKA! (as if your is better)
Hope to give a greater impression next Sunday and I am waiting for some surprise in the semis, hope not to get disappointed!!!!

Her rehearsals though was nice and she might pass.
To the Final without problem I think.
Daniel, To write vodka on the nails, no one would notice them, and would have to be written in a sort of manner that at least, they would be easily read! Also a microphone like Sweden's but with mirrors would cool as well!!
I thought it would have been better if they wrote all the letters of VODKA on her nails, one on each finger! but still mirrors on the nails are very original. This year Malta is trying very hard with simple things, and i think simple is much better! hoping that this year's performance will lead us to the final xD

On 'Lejn il-Eurovision' (a TV program on Net Tv) Joseph from Tony and Guy mentioned that Morena is going to have lots and lots of hair exentions, while Fiona(Morena's nail artist) mentioned that she is going to do to the Nail art for Morena using a material that no one dares to think to use it on nails and this material needs to be get from Ernest!! I think that the 'material' is mirror fragments like Morena's boots!!
