Final rehearsals of the day
Day 5: Ireland, Andorra, Bosnia & Herzegovina
Song 11: Ireland - Dustin the Turkey - Ireland Douze Points
In today's rehearsal Dustin is dressed in a white glitter outfit and is joined on stage with a couple of half naked male dancers, two female dancers and his shopping trolley pusher, who are all dressed in the colours of the Irish flag. This is another mad and funny performance from the Irish turkey.
Song 12: Andorra - Gisela - Casanova
Gisela delivers a fun filled performance of her infectious pop song Casanova on the Eurovision Song contest stage. Her performance is full of energy and she along with her four backing singers are obviously enjoying themselves on the stage. Today she dressed in gold and black. She makes full use of the stage including the catwalk which is used towards the end of the routine. A fun and bubbly performance from the Andorran team.
Song 13: Bosnia & Herzegovina- Pokusjai
The final rehearsal of the day has Laka presenting another eccentric performance of Pokusaj. Laka is joined on stage by four female backing singers wearing full bridal costumes and his sister Mirela who provide an energetic and amusing routine.

Wow. Andorra is a big surprise. Infectious song, neat choreography and good performances in both rehearsals. This could be 2008's dark horse. Certainly through to the final and probably Top 10 on Saturday.

Pity this person hasnt a clue about entertainment.. but is probably the first person to suggest GREECE should win even before they submit their song,... but we know he'll be voting for Cyprus.. anyway who cares what he thinks.

I hate when people get so worked up on this website they completely forget what their point was to begin with. Mr neo nikolais provided the perfect example
Then why did you put us as your no.1 choice?

All three of these will go to the final.
What's keeping the release of the second rehearsal for these countries? It's relly taking long this time. On the official site there are at least some pics posted in the Media Gallery.

wicked are the first ever winners of west end eurovision, a fantastic night that anyone who was there will never forget, great thanks must go to all who performed to help raise vital funds for theatremad, it was one of the campest nights theatre that the west end has ever seen, im sur that others would agree and lets hope that next years is even bigger, i can imagine tickets will be like gold dust next year, the songs performed by each cast were WICKED ooh aah just a little bit,AVENUE Q waterloo,BUDDY save your kisses for me, GREASE making you mind up,my personal fave was MAMMA MIA dinge-dong,PHANTOM love enough for two, LION KING drame queen, the film clips were fabulous, the opening number was an inspired mix of each show specially written for tonight, the judges were fab, the band were amazing and the host was hilarious, congratulations must go to david pendlebury and all at theatremad for pulling off a theatrical treat, i cant wait till next year
The first and second rehearsals for every country are technical rehersals. A country that qualifies to the final does not get another technical rehearsal for the final. Every country gets 2 technical rehearsals and then all 3 shows go through 2-3 dress rehearsals before the live transmissions. In a dress rehearsal, you can't change anything in your performance. That's what the technical ones are for.
@ Kelan KW
Fret not my friend. The automatic qualifiers get equal rehearsing time. They rehearse Saturday and Sunday afternoon/evening before the dress rehearsals start for Semi Final 1 the following week.
Estonia is not the worst song this year. That's Latvia! The pirates me get me a headache, so I avoid watching their rehearsals, haha.
.........And if they did make the UK start at the semifinal stage- I would be the first to say no to the BBC for paying a high fee to the EBU to take part in a contest where the UK doesn't even have the chance to even get more then 30 points!
@ Pat
What I am saying is that- the more times a country reherses the better their performance would be.
And when Ireland qualify, which I think they will, they will have been on the stage 4 times for semi final rehersals, then for the semi final itself, and they will reherse for the final as well. So each time making sure that any problems are ironed out, and don't come back.
@Kelan
The majority of people watching and voting in Eurovision will not have watched the rehersal videos so the countries in the final would not be getting any extra air time by having the same rehersal time as the rest of the semi countries, and would just be getting an unfair advantage given that they are already in the final.
If they want to same air time they should scrap the rule giving the big 4 and winner a guaranteed place in the final and make them compete in the semis.
