Composer seriously injured

Polish final: Few reasons to celebrate

Tonight Poland will select its song for the Eurovision Song Contest 2003 during a televised national final. But this time there won't be a reason to celebrate. Filip Siejca, the composer behind the participating group Ocean Front, has been seriously injured in a car accident. The driver of the car, the popular actor Waldemar Goszcz, died.
Other participants in the Polish final said they were shocked because of this. Although Siejca's situation is stable at this moment, it's not expected that this will have any influence on the participation of Ocean Front tonight. The results of the Polish final will be available at esctoday.com immediately after the outcome. The Polish broadcaster TVP announced that the televoter can only vote by SMS.
