Sights and sounds of Belgrade!
Belgrade 2008: Boat trip in Sava and Danube
Last Monday several delegations along with accredited media had the chance to take a cruise trip in Belgrade thus enjoying the sights and sounds around Belgrade where they got experience the essence e of Serbia. During the cruise the guests were able to see the confluence of rivers, where the Danube and Sava meet. A truly relaxing experience for some of the participating artists who were able to relax and chill during the cruise. Sights of the Saint Sava Church, the Kalemegdan Fortress, St. Marks Church were some of the many sights visible from the cruise ship.
The Swiss delegation came with their entire entourage and the 2008 Swiss Eurovision representative Paolo Menegussi, who was more than happy to give interviews and take photos with fans and media. Also present were the FYROM delegation along with Tamara who was enjoying the cruise. Delegations from Cyprus, Hungary and Croatia were also on the cruise, but with the absence of their singers who opted to relax at the hotel.
Eurovision guests in Belgrade have had the chance to experience the true Serbian spirit and are truly impressed with the warmth and hospitality of the Serbian people.

Bravo, Belgrade! I'm so glad Eurovision is there, it'll give all the good people a good boost to keep trying. And look at those elections? I could've cried I was so happy to see the pro-European parties do so well despite everything going on. So bravo!
It's a good Eurovision year!
Really good and joyously relaxed atmosphere in Belgrade. Some of the parties that took place in the last few days were quite something. The local media have given the event unprecedented coverage and I'm glad to see most foreign reporters falling in love with Belgrade and praising the organisation, many of them promising to come back soon. The host city seem to be pulling it off with grace and ease and a lot of friendships are being made. Good stuff.
That is not true, BBC and CNN said that Serbians are so unfriendly, cold, killers, totally bad and noone will survive their trip to Serbia.
Edin thinks the same.
Enjoy your visit to Serbia.
