Ok Serbia 2008,

Stage - bit small not as spectacular as last year but better then 2005 or 2006.
Hosts - two of the worst hosts ive seen in a while. Her voice just annoyed me. And who ever dressed / styled them should go back to fashion school.
Postcards - Very good, actually a postcard, stamp and all - I think thats a first.
Interval acts - Semi Final 1 - Fantastic
Semi Final 2 - What ????
Final - What in the name of god ?????
Opening acts - All bad.
Camera Work - Not great our consistent - watch the semis and then the final - all over the place - should have done better.
Voting - well we all know how that turned out. Thank god for our neighbours.
Winner - ok song but should' nt have won - was it just me our was he booed before and after his performance if u listen i think he was.
Who should have won - Ballad - Portugal
Pop - Ukraine
Overall - Ukraine
Done alot better - Sweden
BIggest Success supprise - Greece - I just dont get it - crap song.
Best Performance in Final - Ukraine
Worst Performance in Final - France / Poland take your pick.
Worst Performance Overall - Lithaunia - 2nd Semi.

So sense 2000 best and worst eurovisions are taking all into account, no 1 being the best,

1. Sweden - Stockholm 2000
2. Finalnd - Helsinki 2007
3. Serbia - Belgrade 2008
4. Latvia - Riga 2003
5. Greece - Athens 2006
6. Turkey - Istanbul 2004
7. Estonia - Tallin 2002
8. Denmark - Copenhagan - 2001 - I still cant get over this production 7 years on. For a country that loves the eurovision they really did make a shite of it. I gave up reading poetry after those hosts - ughhhhhhhh ;-).
See ye Russia 2009.

Theres no racism in Eurovision in as much as the East will vote for non-white performers, Dave Benton who represented Estonia in 2001 is black,

Although getting them to vote for a Western country, black, white or purple with green spots is another thing althogether :-)

I agree with the comments about Terry Wogan loosing the plot alot but he's still a good commentator and the reason that manny Brits watch the show.

Well done RTS...lovely show, well organised, well presented.... bad voting but that had nothing to do with organisation. Also bad comments about first 4, let me put it clear, it's not the fault of immigrants voting for their country, it's not the fault of neighbour voting... it's the EBU's fault, Svante needs to come up with a solution for this big problem, and rather soon than late. He is concerned about the big 4 not partiipating in semi but my friend, you ignore once again a far bigger problem...televoting.

Solution : 50 % televoting (only 1 vote per phone to a certain country), 50 % professional juries, only countries directly in final can vote, all the others bring all their votes together and give an average of their votes in 1 set of points...

I don't think the UK's result was about racism against Andy either - a lot of Europeans don't like the Brits at all no matter what race they are!!

The song was awful and although Andy A has a great voice it was well passed its sell-by-date

I thought the stage was very good this year although I thought it was a bit small in comparison to my favourite stage in Helsinki last year. I also thought every time the presenters were on stage it was just a nightmare unfolding!

However, the graphics used for the voting were done really well in Belgrade and I thought the postcards were excellent and I really enjoyed watching them as much as the songs. Overall I thought it was an excellent show!

It was probably the best ESC ever! Great job!

the most easier is to accuse someone else for their bad position :S

Serbia, Belgrade and RTS have organized ESC very well, I have reasons to be proud :)

About Wogan - I heard he said that. Well, "Even if" was actually his wildcard in UK NF, so it is easier for him to accuse "Eastern bloc voting" than to admit he had a bad taste or lack of sense what would be safe ESC entry thus lack of credibility to be an ESC expert :P
I think that was the point :)

Africa Vision:

Terry does say some stupid things. He can be funny however he also talks rubbish. Hes just pissed because it was basically him that sent andy to Belgrade and then we got a bad result, so he feels guilty.

And for what he said hes the racist one, because hes directing the accusations at easterners, when in actualy fact only 2 western countries voted for us aswell, so is the whole of europe racist? Terry's just guilty.

If I were you I wouldn't listen to his comments, I think hes losing the plot a little! ;) I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up in a care home soon :)

Everything about this year in Serbia is GREAT (except voting)... I had time of my life in Belgrade. Thank you RTS, I think it was the best eurovision ever....

As for Terry Wogan... I don't get this guy, why is he saying that eastern countries are racist ...??? Because they didn't give Andy any pts ???

And what about Western countries??? Are they racist too (except Ireland and San Marino) As long as I can see neither ONE country from west didn't give also pts to UK... What a stupid thing to say...

If anyone is racist that Terry himself, his comments are insuting (not just songs) but countries and cultures as well... that's my friend racist person...

Look at this everyone! Another insight into the ignorance of Terry Wogan ("mr eurovision" - really!) >>>

http://today.reuters(...)_01_L01698442_RTRUKO C_0_UK-EUROVISION.xml

Now it seems Eurovision is a "racist" contest.... which is really hipocritical as Terry Wogan is the one who promotes the contest as an opportunity to "chortle at "Johnny Foreigner"!
So he is saying that eastern Europe wont vote for black singers.... cant he remember Estonia 2001, and Dave Benton?! Maybe it is his time to quit and leave.... Eurovision without Wogan..... FANTASTIC :)

Back to the subject of the article, I think Serbia did a great job and the 2008 stage was my favourite so far!
