I just checked Oikotimes. It's not Sofia Berntson (Hypnotized) but Sofia Källgren (another MF contestant) who will be in Beijing.

Yes, I look forward to Sanna's performance together with this grand orchestra. This is a free concert and there will be lots of people as usual having their picnics on the lawn. SVT will show the concert a week later

I didn't know about Charlotte and Beijing. I haven't checked Oiko today. Great.
On Sunday I will go to an open air concert with the Stockholm Philharmonic orchestra (it's a yearly event, like the Proms, the orchestra playing Pomp and Circumstance) and Sanna will be a special guest

Last year Magnus Carlsson (Live forever) had a sore throat and was poorly. I think that's why he didn't qualify.
I see from your profile that you listen to an instrumental version of "When you need me". I didn't know there was one. I like that song and "That's love" too.
When we were talking about MF 2007 I think I forgot to tell you that I liked "Hypnotized". Perhaps people thought that it sounded too much like "My number one". Sofia is not Greek but she has spent some time in Greece.

If I remember correctly Velvet had a cold and wasn't feeling very well on the semi-final night. Still I'm surprised she didn't qualify.

The Melodifestivalen mystery is solved. The video on SVT's website is from the Friday night dress rehearsal. Tickets for all MF dress rehearsals are sold out within a few hours.

WOW it was over 2 weeks ago I sent that request! Maybe emails from Greece take a while to arrive...LOL

Yes they did. During the 2nd hour after about 17 minutes they mentioned Mina from sunny Greece and right after that they mentioned my name. A little later they played "Believe". The 3rd hour is an ABBA special.

I have never heard of this TV series but on eBay I found a DVD called "Maelstrom" from 1985. This is the plot:
"Why did the millionaire leave a fortune to an unknown woman? After inheriting property there, Catherine Durrell travels to Norway where she gets caught up in a 'maelstrom' of murder and terror."

My friend, I have a totally out of the blue question for you, nothing to do with eurovision. When I was a kid, living with my parents we watched (I think) a Swedish series on tv, I think it was called "Maalstrom", or something. Do you know about it ? I am looking to buy that DVD (if it's on the market) for my mum, but amazon doesn't know it. I think it was about two sisters living in a house on the river, quite spooky. Does it ring a bell ?
I usually skip the Estonian entry.

Radio International contacted me two days ago and said they were going to play my request this week. Very good of them. Now we have to listen to the show next week as well
Well thanks to Mina, we could listen once more to the winning song of this year because with the hand on my heart, I haven't even heard it once after the final.... Not once.

They mentioned me (if you listen you will know my real name) during the second hour after 20 minutes or so but they will play the song next week. 10 minutes later they played Mina's request.
I will phone SVT tomorrow afternoon. This is so strange.
